Thank you for everyone who contributed to the show from the match writers to those who sent in segments. I feel like this show gave everyone an idea of what's to come with how we're going to operate. That being said, I want to hear back from you all. Tell me and the rest of the staff what you liked, what you didn't, and what you think needs improvements. Feedback is especially important in these opening shows because everyone's trying to get used to a new format. So please, please, pleaaaaaaaaase do this if you can. Here are some things you can put down if you don't just want to jump in.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: FAVORITE SEGMENT: BIGGEST SURPRISE: BIGGEST UPSET: FAVORITE SPOT: FAVORITE MATCH:
"Hoping to bring efedding a few good steps forward."
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Lesage... Oh talent. Going with Van Beek, sorry mang.
FAVORITE SEGMENT: Grace Van Beek. So let’s get it out of the way, yes the stereotypical million dollar wrestler is done a lot. Sometimes, plenty of times done without even being a “gimmick”. Beek’s segment however sold me on her. It wasn’t the Cadillac or the security force but the private locker room touch with Lizst playing.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Cassius Reed. Not that he won but that he won in 4:53. I would expect Reed to win five on the dot. What the funk, man? <___<
BIGGEST UPSET: Elena’s raise not going through. CURSE YOU BATEMAN! Also Romero taking it.
FAVORITE SPOT: Less a spot more just an out and out bit of hilarity. Lesage translating glares in Romero/Atwater.
FAVORITE MATCH: Fernandez/Beek... Because I’ll be damned if watching Internet Memes Incarnate mist an Aspen Ski Resort regular before she nut shot Novembers him isn’t the best kind of wrestling.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: This is a tough one as I have multiple people in mind (Grace Van Beek, Francesca, Ezra Eden), but with the main event victory, I'll go with Lyza Reyes.
FAVORITE SEGMENT: The Cassius Reed pre-match segment, it was short but sweet, worked perfectly for me.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: No Nut November came into effect twice with those two low blows. Yowch!
BIGGEST UPSET: I actually don't know tbh. If I had to go with something it would be Ainsley/Lockhart.
FAVORITE SPOT: The fast paced/back and forth pinfalls in the main event, you can really get the impression that both competitors were hungry for a victory and hitting everything they could to secure that.
FAVORITE MATCH: It's a tie for me. Eden/Reyes and Fran/Reed both delivered. All of the other matches were great on top of that.
I'm going to deviate from the format and just write out my general thoughts here. Sorry for going against the grain on that front.
On the whole, there's a lot to like here and very little that could use marked improvement. The matches are well written, well thought out and overall compelling reads that have a lot more life to them than some of the matches I've read in recent times. Characterization is handled well in them as well, which is something that I've found only the best writers tend to do well and that makes me all too happy to be a part of the roster. The pacing was handled well, too. Nothing felt too long as to be cumbersome to read, yet not too short to leave me wanting. There was tons to like about this show.
My only real gripe isn't so much of a strong negative, so much as it's a matter of the fed being new. A lot of the individual wrestler segments didn't really draw me in all that much. I'm barely familiar with the roster, their accomplishments and the like so I'm approaching this as a 'new fan' in a sense...and to be perfectly honest? Most felt dry to me. Before anyone takes offense to that though, I'd like to make it clear that it's not a matter of it being 'oh, lame promo' or anything of the sort...but more a matter of, due to the fed being new and in the building stages of establishing feuds and storylines, there is only so much to work with at the moment beyond personal hype pieces. And that's fine, but not something that I personally find gripping. I got more out of the storytelling conveyed in the matches, personally. I know this will change in the coming weeks, so I'm looking forward to that.
On the whole? I enjoyed almost everything presented here. Even the things I didn't enjoy didn't make me want to skip through to the next thing though. We've got a good roster and I'm excited to see where we progress from here.

I up everything that Bateman just said. It's spot on to me. With everything being so new it does leave a sense of trying to understand characters with the company being so new. For the first show it's not like I'm expecting story's and feuds at full blast. When they do start to pick up though that's when Neo is really going to boom. The matches are nice length and gives a great feel for who the wresters act, fight, I can tell the match writers really dived into that 'how does your character wrestle' section of the app. For the most part segments flowed very well. Didn't seem like it was that one or two that just feels outta place, and the different personalities of the commentators works very good aswell. V1 was a very good show and when things start to pick up it's gonna be a great ride for Neo

I should begin by saying I have always loved full results more than summarized, and that's definitely a plus for me - there's absolutely nothing left to be desired on that front. Plus I have always liked each commentator sounding different from each other - and that's not something easily seen these days. Everyone else has done very good segments and the matches as a whole do justice to what the wrestlers have put in their apps - and that includes Mariano as well. Negative aspects, as for mine own part, I haven't seen, and were I hard pressed to point one I believe I would agree with Bateman that the main problem is the fed's young status, but that's something that will work out itself in time.
And here are my own views on the categories proposed:
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Lyza Reyes, for winning the first Main Event of the HEAVEN OR HELL Tournament.
FAVORITE SEGMENT: Cassius Reed was fun, and I like fun things most of all.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: In principle I don't like commenting on matches where Mariano was in, but the No Nut November ending was a nice surprise.
BIGGEST UPSET: In my eyes there wasn't a particular underdog or strong candidate to win any given match - all wrestlers here are so far evenly matched, so no upsets for me to say.
FAVORITE SPOT: Francesca biting Skylynn's hand. I like unpredictable and weird things like that too!
FAVORITE MATCH: Lyza vs. Eden - it's always nice to see Lyza in action.

I am the world's worst feedback giver with or without a format :X But the show was fun. It hit that nice sweet spot between too short and too long, and frankly I know this isn't a popular thing to say, but I've always felt "fully written" matches outside a PPV lose so much special and punch. A nice condensed medium is what NEO has, and I like that.
When a few more shows are under the belt I'm sure we'll see more threads that will turn into stories so that's good, seg-wise. The ones on this show I felt did what they needed to, to sort of introduce the characters to unfamiliar audiences so that was nice to see too.

I know I'm not actually in this fed, but I dabble in the invite shows so I do my best to keep up.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Lyza Reyes FAVORITE SEGMENT: Cassius Reed BIGGEST SURPRISE: Cassius Reed doing the dirty in under 5 minutes. BIGGEST UPSET: Grace getting the win over Manny. FAVORITE SPOT: Disregarding the prior idea, she leaped off for a diving Hurricanrana but Eden caught her in mid-air. With an impromptu Buckle Bomb, Ezra was able to turn the tide and when Lyza came out, he caught her in the head with Pilgrim’s Path (Jumping Spinning Heel Kick)! FAVORITE MATCH: Ezra Eden vs. Lyza Reyes
MVP OF THE NIGHT: LeSage because in the course of one show she became my absolute fave. (or Lyza for that big first night win, one or the other)
FAVORITE SEGMENT: Cassius saying he was gonna win in under 5 and then doing it. Apollo would be proud.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: The amount of nut attacks. Those poor sacks.
BIGGEST UPSET: I dunno if I'd say any of these matches had a real upset? It was pretty evenly matched throughout.
FAVORITE SPOT: Romero calling Atwater a cuck because I am a child that finds that word hilarious. Or the nut attacks, because I am a child that finds those hilarious.
FAVORITE MATCH: Toss-up between Skylnn/Fran and the main event.
To type thoughts succinctly, I think it was a very good beginning for Neo. A really good match quality throughout that I think made everyone look good and have their moment even if they didn't win. I see where others are coming from about the youngness of the fed meaning segments and characters are starting out from zero essentially (unless you're me who specifically had his segment mention not intro'ing the character because my presumptuous ass ignored that there would obviously be people who don't know her, oof), which I'm sure will change quickly as things get going (I mean just from some of the things on this show alone I'm sure will flavor the next, like what happened to Kane's sack or the Sophie/Fran/Anteater alliance)
Basically it was a good show, a really easy and enjoyable read, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows. Pats on the back for everyone involved.
MVP OF THE NIGHT: Ezra. He made ol’ girl WERK. FAVORITE SEGMENT: Cassius. So much funk and flavor. I also liked how Grace Van Beek’s and Manny’s segments complemented one another which gives you something to look forward to for match time. BIGGEST SURPRISE: The low blows. BIGGEST UPSET: Atwater losing via countout. Once again, time was not in his favor. (see HKW's Crowned Royalty 2016.) FAVORITE SPOT:ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I think I need a cigarette.” - shoot, same here. FAVORITE MATCH: Skylynn vs Francesca and Irina vs Tabitha
I think with any new promotion, fed, etc. some of the "dreaded" introductions are going to happen since the wrestlers are in a new place with a new beginning. I'm confident things will come into place as things progress. The matches were easy to follow and weren’t too short or lengthy.
Loved the commentary. Each member serves a purpose and fulfills their roles accordingly.
I mean, ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I hope he isn’t crying. I mean, it’s okay to cry. We don’t believe in toxic masculinity around these parts.” <3
