PRO WRESTLING NEO INSURGENCE - NIGHT TWO LIVE FROM THE GOLDEN 1 CENTER IN SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
OPENER HEAVEN OR HELL TOURNAMENT FINALS "HELL"
Hagen Lecktor vs. HENNY
ERIN LAMBERT: “The following match is scheduled for one fall and it’s the finals of the Heaven or Hell Tournament!”
A palpable air of anticipation lingered in the air as the crowd knew exactly the gravity of this match up. On the counterbalance, the main event was truly the heavenly plane for Blaise Fader and William Bateman. Here? It was the reality that the loser would be in Hell, forced to watch as the company evolves past them. They’ll be at the bottom of the totem pole and have to work their way up through adversity to even touch the edge of heaven. The light cheering was mostly in favor of the company’s nature and the conclusion of the historic tournament. Soon, they started to quiet down as the camera panned over to the entranceway.
“Bound for the Floor” by Local H began to play, where the lights fluctuated between light blue and white. The ensemble of the stage was formed differently than the regular syndications. When Hagen made his way out onto the stage, he looked a hint apprehensive. The cheering of the audience stabilized his nerves, leading to him pumping an arm in the air. With his confidence, at least, temporarily bolstered his resolve. He began to start down the ramp to the audience’s cheers.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing first...from Buford, Wyoming...weighing in at a 210 pounds...HAGEN LECKTOOOOOOR!”
CERES BENTON: “Hagen Lecktor, one of our many rookies, walks into the most important match of his life against a man who quite frankly has fallen into a dangerous mindset.”
JIN FUMEI: “The trials of a fledgling are something to behold. For him, it has been some of the worst. Yet, he still carries a fire in him that has made him not want to quit.”
Hagen stopped at the edge of the ramp, eyeing the ring, a place where he has met nothing but failure in his start. Bravery found a home on his young face as he hit the ring. Instead of parading around, absorbing the crowd’s energy, Hagen merely rested in his corner. He overlooked the audience before focusing his attention on the entranceway. As the camera stayed on him, he felt the gravity of the Golden 1 Center shift out of his favor.
”SHOT THROUGH THE HEART, AND YOU’RE TO BLAME
DARLING YOU GIVE LOVE, A BAD NAME!”
White sparks rain down on the stage, the normal precursor to HENNY’s appearance. HENNY came from behind the pleasantries without the usual flair radiating from him. Instead, he looked out towards the ring with a stoic gaze. No games, no strutting, no slapping the thigh, HENNY just took a deep breath and began on his way down the ramp.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Ladies and gentlemen, making his way to the ring, from Malmö, Sweden, now residing in the San Fernando Valley, weighing in at 223lbs, ‘The Pinnacle’...HENNY HEARTACHE!”
CERES BENTON: “HENNY left us with some somewhat chilling words.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “That’s not HENNY. That’s not the flamboyant supermodel. That’s the competitor walking into here, knowing that he has to win or else. From a world champion to complete desolation? That’s terrifying.”
JIN FUMEI: “That just makes him all the more dangerous.”
From the apron the Swede scales the turnbuckle, his left foot planted on the second rope whilst his right is on the turnbuckle. He then begins to casually shrug off his jacket, allowing it to slide off his body to the floor before holding his arms out to his side again and tensing his muscles, inciting an extremely loud negative reaction from the audience in attendance once more.
Instead of the fanfare of him blowing kisses to the audience, he merely hopped off the turnbuckle. He kept his eyes trained on Hagen as the match bell rang.
DING! DING!
HENNY rushed towards Hagen, catching him off guard with a volley of punches that not only startle but wear down the young rookie. With a head of flame, he whipped Hagen into the ropes and brought him down with a kitchen sink filled with every bit of malice built up in his body. Hagen doesn’t get a chance to defend himself as HENNY brutalized him with stomps aimed at the head and neck. It’s only when she manages to see a clear stomp targeted to only injure that Referee Matsuda interferes. HENNY doesn’t want to relent but he has to. However, once he was given the clear, HENNY brought Hagen to the mat with an one-handed bulldog.
Measuring him next, HENNY leapt up into the air and brought his knee down across Hagen’s chest, snatching the air from his lungs. He remained there, grinding his knee into Hagen’s chest while Referee Matsuda came forward to pry him away. HENNY proclaimed that he had five seconds and he planned on using them. When Matsuda started, HENNY gave a clean break, but before the crowd could react, he brought the knee back down. He repeated his statement, further elaborating by saying he had a clean break, so what was the issue then? Nevertheless, HENNY released Hagen from the pressure but smacked on the back of the head. Hagen got up quickly, but he couldn’t rally back. HENNY merely planted him to the mat with a back suplex. When HENNY got up, he told Hagen to stay down and pressed his shoulders down with a boot on the chest.
ONE!
KICKOUT!
HENNY gritted his teeth and kicked Hagen in the ribs, prompting the crowd to lay into him. HENNY retreated back to his corner, settling on the 2nd turnbuckle, gazing out towards his fallen opponent. Hagen writhed in pain, the kick dealing more damage due to just how precise it was. HENNY shook his head and walked over to Hagen, lifting him to his feet. He attempted a belly-to-belly suplex but Hagen wouldn’t go. Instead, Hagen tried to break free but HENNY put him back to the ground with a dropkick.
JIN FUMEI: “That’s going to be HENNY’s key to success, making sure that Hagen can’t get going. That has been the story of how his losses came to be.”
CERES BENTON: “Furthermore, he can’t let his ego get to him. He’s in the finals that can decide his fate here in NEO.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Don’t rule out how Hagen feels either. He doesn’t want to lose and he has a lot to prove to the rookie class of NEO.”
Things were not going in Hagen’s favor. As he tried to get up, HENNY applied an abdominal stretch, stopping Hagen in his tracks. Hagen was able to easily figure out an escape and brought him down with a snapmare. A brisk kick caught HENNY in the spine, but he got up quickly. Hagen met him with a chop to the chest but HENNY stopped any form of a comeback with a knee to the gut. It wasn’t long before HENNY snatched Hagen up and planted him with a Fisherman suplex. He bridged up as Matsuda made the count:
ONE!
TWO!
While the match certainly hadn’t been going his way, Hagen’s will-power was strong as he kicked out. He had a defiant look in his eye as he rolled away. That look of defiance angered HENNY. As a result, HENNY brought his boot down and savagely stomped on Hagen’s face. But it didn’t end there. He hit another stomp. And another still. Referee Matsuda stepped in and pushed HENNY back before he could deliver another. He admonished him and let him know that she’d disqualify him if he he kept insisting to act reckless. HENNY responded with a snarl, but he didn’t step out of line. Instead, he took ahold of Hagen and lifted him to his feet.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “HENNY’s not himself tonight.”
JIN FUMEI: “Of course not, he’s in the end of a tournament he should have gotten out of!”
CERES BENTON: “I think that he has gotten more savage here.”
HENNY gave his opponent a look before he cocked back and cleaned Hagen’s clock with a vicious slap. Hagen stumbled backwards as he tried to keep his footing; in the meantime, HENNY shot himself into the ropes. He rebounded and darted towards Hagen. He intended to decapitate the young man with a Busaiku knee. However, Hagen was able to get himself out of the way; HENNY flew and began entangled in the ropes. Seeing an opportunity, Hagen grabbed ahold of HENNY and dropped him with a neckbreaker. Instead of going for the pinfall, Hagen dragged HENNY towards the center of the ring and flipped him over. From there, Hagen locked on a camel clutch.
The Heartache’s neck? It got pulled all the back. There was really nowhere for HENNY to go. Unfortunately for Hagen, he pulled back on HENNY’s chin so hard that one his arms slipped out. He used that free are to elbow Hagen in the back of the leg. A clean shot connected with Hagen’s calf muscle; he was forced to break the hold as he grabbed ahold of his leg. HENNY was relentless in his pursuits, dropping fists all over Hagen until Referee Matsuda broke him off of the rookie.
As he got up, Hagen looked worse for wear, but the crowd was rallying behind him. HENNY screamed for them to silence themselves before he drove a knee into the back of Hagen’s head. He tried for the pinfall.
ONE!
TWO!
Hagen got the shoulder up, much to HENNY’s displeasure. Yet, it soon alleviated into a grin as he stood up. He wove his hand through his hair as he brought Hagen up. He ran off the ropes and struck him down with his Busaiku Knee Kick, sending Hagen’s head into the mat. Instead of going for the pin, HENNY hit his double jump moonsault twice. Hagen was sprawled out on the mat as HENNY seemed to regain his spirit. There was no more wrath, instead, there was the wide smile on HENNY’s face.
As Hagen began to get to his feet, HENNY took measure of him. It only took one kick.
One Shot Through The Heart.
HENNY closed his eyes and took the plunge.
Yet, it was a move found in desperation. The whole tournament had weighed on his mind. Many times, HENNY was so close. Sometimes, it was a mere misstep, other times it was not hitting a key move at the right time. As he went for the superkick, he failed to notice the gravity of the ring. Hagen had it scouted. He knew that HENNY might stumble in this time of weakness.
An Oklahoma Roll followed.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING! DING!! DING!!!
ERIN LAMBERT: “Here is your winner and escaping the Heaven of Hell Tournament...HAGEN LECKTOR!”
JIN FUMEI: “I can’t...NO, NO! THAT CAN’T BE IT! IT WAS A TWO COUNT! SOMETHING WAS OFF ABOUT THAT!”
Hagen abandoned the ring with the crowd behind him. He expected HENNY to come after him but instead, HENNY just sat there in the center of the ring.
CERES BENTON: “HENNY got too overzealous and--”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I...I hope he’s okay.”
HENNY’s face reflected nothing but silence. He didn’t seem to stare at anything while he was in the center of the ring. After a while, the crowd began to go silent as HENNY got off the mat. He looked in the direction of Referee Matsuda Sumiko. Instead of blasting her with a superkick, he just...nodded and went to the back.
WINNER AND ESCAPING THE HEAVEN OR HELL TOURNAMENT: Hagen Lecktor via pinfall (10:15 - Oklahoma Roll)
"Hoping to bring efedding a few good steps forward."

KAGEYAMA'S SPECIAL REQUEST
"SURVIVAL"
KAIJU vs. Nariko Inazuma
The bell rings and KAIJU immediately charges right out of his corner straight at Nariko! The young woman has barely a moment to register just how fast all that meat is moving before it’s slammed into her, throwing her back into the turnbuckle behind her! Nariko hits hard and rebounds away from it into the waiting arms of KAIJU, who effortlessly lifts her in a military press, holding Nariko close to 7 feet in the air. KAIJU adds to his own display of dominance by actually lifting and lowering Nariko, using her as an unwilling weight to show off his strength. And then he throws his arms up as he lifts them, throwing Nariko behind him, leaving her with plenty of height to fall from!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Y E E T!
BUT NARIKO MANAGES TO FLIP IN THE AIR AND LANDS ON HER FEET!
KAIJU hears what is clearly not a heap of meat smashing into the mat at mach 8 and turns around, in time for Nariko to run up and put her everything into leaping out and slamming both knees into KAIJU’s barrel chest! This doesn’t take him off his feet but it does see KAIJU stumble back into the corner, leaning against the turnbuckle. Nariko rolls to her feet and sees this, running up and jumping up, driving her knee into KAIJU’s face! She drops and runs to the opposite corner and takes off back, leaping up and doing it again! She runs back to the corner and comes back for a third knee, leaping up
and getting caught by KAIJU.
Rage in his eyes, he hefts Nariko up clearly intending to powerbomb her spine through the planet’s core, but Nariko struggles and fights, ending up moving herself around KAIJU’s head and throwing her weight forward, KAIJU going forward as he tries to grab her and change things, and Nariko ends up rolling KAIJU through with the Obama Roll (victory roll)! Official Olivia Summers slides in and starts the count!
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!
CERES BENTON: Surprisingly Nariko has managed to control this match early on.
JIN FUMEI: Agility is why. She can go faster and move her body in ways KAIJU can’t. It’s let her keep this early, but she has to keep it up, she can’t give him a moment.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Cuz the second he hits her that’s gonna be it, with hammers like that for fists.
CERES BENTON: Exactly. Unfortunately, it seems she’s not sure what to do…
In the ring Nariko indeed seems surprise at the 2 count. Sitting on the mat it looks like a hundred thoughts course through her head quickly, Nariko biting her lip in thought as she tries to formulate what to do. She can hear KAIJU starting to move behind her and knows she has to do SOMETHING, and just goes with the first thing in her head as she gets to her feet and runs for the ropes, exiting onto the apron and grabbing the top rope. She leaps up and then leaps into the air, extending both her knees for a Springboard Meteora!
And KAIJU sidestepped, one of those massive fists flying out and smashing Nariko right on the jaw, and she crashes into the ground like a bag of bricks.
ELIZABETH LESAGE:oooooooooooffffffffffffffffff….
Seemingly incensed by her early control, KAIJU makes his way over to the woozy Nariko, grabbing her around the waist and just hefting her up, holding her for a few moments before throwing her back and smashing her to the mat with a gutwrench suplex. KAIJU gets to his feet and grabbed Nariko’s left leg, bending it and placing his boot onto the inside of it before using both his arm and leg to drive it down, smashing her knee into the mat while stomping it at the same time, eliciting a shout of pain from the young woman. KAIJU then moved around, grabbing her right leg and, despite her trying to struggle it away from him, does the same to it, with another yell of pain coming from Nariko due to it. With that completed, he grabs her around the waist again and hefts her up, this time to throw her over his head to the mat with a German. Nariko tries to roll through the impact but when she gets to her feet she stumbles and falls onto her behind, just in time for KAIJU to smash her in the face with a big running knee, sending her crashing backwards onto the mat.
JIN FUMEI: And just like that, KAIJU changes everything in the match. He’s taken her legs from her for now, and unless she can last long enough to recover enough to use them heavily, he’s going to steamroll her.
CERES BENTON: He’s monstrous, but there’s a cleverness in that mind.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Or maybe that’s Saejima’s idea, he’s been talking to him this whole time.
JIN FUMEI: True. Never discount what two minds can do compared to one wrestler.
With a roar he grasps Nariko and once again hefts her up like a toy, draping her across his broad shoulders and Nariko began to experience the torture rack! Nariko let out yelps of pain as KAIJU tried to snap her body in half, and she was desperate for escape. She didn’t want to give up, but knew she had to do something immediately. Her arms flail around desperately, and one grabs hold of the top rope. Grabbing onto it with an iron grip, she holds hard to it and this was noticed by KAIJU. Annoyed that she was still fighting, stopped actively breaking her to start to move away. But Nariko continues to hold on and starts to slip off his shoulders partially, one leg slipping from the grasp and dropping down to wrap around the rope as well. Pulling herself on the ropes starts to have an effect, and KAIJU’s balance goes wonky, and suddenly he’s tipping backwards, over the ropes! KAIJU spills to the outside, Nariko holding onto the ropes while KAIJU falls headfirst to the mats outside!
CERES BENTON: Nariko just bought herself a crucial few moments of recovery!
JIN FUMEI: Smart, but that will enrage a monster like KAIJU more. She’ll need to spend these moments wisely, planning.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Can you plan for being hit with a nuke?
JIN FUMEI: We’ll find out.
Nariko flops herself down onto the mat, immediately starting to stretch her legs to get her mobility back, wincing at the pain but trying to work through it before the time she gained herself runs out. She gets to her feet just as an enraged KAIJU enters the ring and immediately charges. She manages to duck under an attempted massive lariat, turning and jumping to hit a dropkick to the back of his knee, taking the monster to one knee! Nariko then ran and hit the ropes, coming back and nailing KAIJU with the Burst Gauge (shining wizard)! This doesn’t drop him, but it does seem to knock some screws loose, unleash some birds in his vision. Nariko seems dismayed though that he didn’t drop, and takes a moment to consider her plan before nodding and running for the ropes, leaping up and off to wrap her legs around KAIJU’s head to go for the Nariko’s Double Rainbow (springboard reverse hurricanrana), but the world deflates as KAIJU grabs her by the legs as she tries to tip them both backwards and instead SWINGS NARIKO OVER HIS HEAD AND SLAMMING HER FACE FIRST ONTO THE MAT!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: OOOOOHHHHHH MY GAHD!
KAIJU looms over Nariko, casting a hungry shadow over her body as he reaches down and grabs her, snaking his arms around hers and locking his hands together at the back of her neck, locking her into The Great Maw (ragdolling Full Nelson)! He begins to show off his strength by effortlessly swinging Nariko around as she struggles half-consciously in the hold, unable to do anything. Summers checks her, doing her best to do the usual checks as KAIJU swings her around, and Nariko cannot answer any of it, and so Summers turns and calls for the bell.
DING! DING!! DING!!!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Oh man, I’m gonna be thinking about him swinging her forward like that for a long time...
CERES BENTON: A valiant effort from Nariko, but once he got rolling KAIJU turned out to be unstoppable.
JIN FUMEI: She tried her best, but at crucial moments she had to stop and try to plan. More experience, she’d be able to do that on the fly. Those moments she gave KAIJU were what cost her tonight. Simple as. The wrestler she is right now wasn’t ready.
CERES BENTON: A harsher view, but I see what you mean. Still, she showed so much potential tonight. But ultimately it was KAIJU that sent a message to everyone. Whoever faces him next should watch this closely to try and prepare for that monster.
WINNER: KAIJU via TKO (10:11 - The Great Maw)
"Hoping to bring efedding a few good steps forward."
SUMMARY: Dexter Jacobs and Lisa Seldon had a pretty alright match at first. It was that way until Dexter got BIG MAD. When he got big mad, the match slowly devolved. Illegal strikes from Dexter busted Lisa open who valiantly fought back against the Redneck Hulk. She got him to the point of stumbling around, bleeding himself. It was a raw visceral match that featured no weapons but enough bloodshed for the good deathmatch lover. Dexter Jacobs did win the match after he dropped Lisa with Death Rattle (Repeated Powerbombs). Lisa rallied against the first three but the fourth finally forced herself to drift into unconsciousness. He then connected with a Primal Concrete Sledge (Tombstone Piledriver). He looked to go for another but referee Ollie Summers interrupted, calling an end to the match.
[FULL SUMMARY MATCH SOON]
WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDER TO REPUBLIC CHAMPIONSHIP: Dexter Jacobs via TKO (9:45 - Primal Concrete Sledge)

IMPULSE CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP "THE GRACEFUL AND THE DEVIOUS"
Irina Onegin vs. Francesca
“Ich möchte stärker werden... Weil unsere Welt sehr grausam ist... Es ist ratsam, welke blumen zu entfernen...”
At the start of the song, bright spotlights of a pastel pink and white make the arena look brighter. At that moment... Petals begin to fall from the ceiling, pink paper petals in fact that resemble cherry blossoms. The strange synths make a strange combination with the German singing that sounds rather distressing with the swell of deceptively upbeat music behind it. As the music plays and the petals fall a figure begins to emerge from the curtain into the bright lights. None of this makes the crowd stop booing however.
“Du fragst mich, ob ich mit dir komm, Du flüsterst mir in mein ohr. Du fragst mich, ob ich deine hand nehm. Ich hab keinen grund dich abzulehnen. Du fragst mich, ob ich mit dir komm. Du flüsterst mir in mein ohr. Du fragst mich, ob ich deine hand nehm. Du flüsterst mir... DIESE WELT IST GRAUSAM, ES IST TRAURIG ABER WAHR! DIESE WELT IST SELTSAM, ES IST FRAGLICH ABER WAHR! (IST DER BLUMENGARTEN... ECHT ODER FALSCH?) DIESE WELT IST GRAUSAM, ES IST TRAURIG ABER WAHR! DIESE WELT IST SELTSAM, ES IST FRAGLICH ABER WAHR!”
As the song breaks into ominous German chanting, the self-described “Graceful Assassin” walks towards the ring in a white smock smattered in paint over her ring gear and pink Lennon style sunglasses, Natural Born Killers style.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing at this time... From the Last Garden, representing the Church of Oleska... She is “The Graceful Assassin”, THIS is Irina Onegin!”
JIN FUMEI: “You know how some of our talent tend to look like they actually kill people in their spare time?”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Yup.”
She stops just short of the apron, taking off her coat and sunglasses as the crowd boos her. Irina hops onto the apron and walks into her corner, glancing up to see the petals done falling as “Blumenkranz” comes to an end.
CERES BENTON: The last time we saw Irina Onegin she and her tag partner, Silas Romero, were defeated by Evelyn Kuller and Blaise Fader dashing her Pro Wrestling NEO World Championship hopes. Her opponent tonight Francesa lost her opportunity to William Bateman and Cassius Reed when she tagged with Ashlyn Monroe.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Neither can afford the loss here. The stakes are high.”
"Yeah... I'm like oh God, oh, oh my God... Bitch I run the game y'all just commentate from the side..."
"Flexicution” by Logic blared through the Golden 1 Center! The audience erupted into a swarm of boos for the New Jersey native. The lights dimmed down. Red, white, and green strobe lights were rained down via the production crew as a homage to The Fleexican’s culture!
Fran walked out from behind the curtain, the strobe lights swishing past her.
ERIN LAMBERT: "Introducing her opponent...Proudly representing her hometown of Bloomfield, New Jersey....Your Fleexican!!!!! FRANNNNNNNNNNNN-CES-CAAAAAAAA!!!"
JIN FUMEI: “Since that loss kicking her from contention Francesa bounced back with her buddy pal pal Sophie El getting a great tag win but this is a different environment now. Two days of action to determine champions and contenders.”
CERES BENTON: “Buddy pal pal?”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Irina has an entire church. Jin can get away with the buddy pal pal.”
She held her customized Goat Head Stick in hand which only intensified the hatred the audience let be felt by the people watching in the comfort of their own homes. Fran stopped once she reached the middle of the ramp - lifting her free balled up fist up high… The strobe lights ceased, bringing the normal venue lights back into play!
"Like this that flexicution"
Fran proceeded on and rolled into the ring. Once she settled herself she moved towards the turnbuckle.
DING! DING!!
The two that are involved in this match will obviously be full of moments. A match full of the crazy artistic and skillful. The California crowd not being fond of either Onegin or Francesca give into their need to boo out while the two circled one another. They didn’t know it but they get their first moment of the match when Irina presses forward to Francesca and Fran threw her hands up in almost a ‘timeout’ fashion. Irina paused for the cause confused as everyone else in the Golden 1 Center as to why Fran has done this and the answer comes with Francesca oddly holding out her hand. Irina looked at Fran’s hand realizing what she is asking for while Fran nodded making her point further extending her hand more. Fans gave a mixed reaction to this some yelled “Shake. Her. Hand.” haters of the Fleexican screamed “Punch. Her. Face.” The moment didn’t last long though Fran never gives Irina the opportunity to decide. She stretched her hands out flexing as only she can with a…
“YYYYYAAAAAASSSSSSS JESAAAAAAAAASSSSS!!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Did she jus-?”
CERES BENTON: “Yes. Yes she did.”
JIN FUMEI: “Let us pray.”
The crowd responded to the outright disrespect with boos. Onegin gave an even better response with a backhand from the depths of Hades with a devil like windup!!
JIN FUMEI: “OH, oh dear god!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “And unanswered.”
Fran seized up like a stop sign in Chicago during below zero temperatures and Irina followed up the abrupt offense with a round of left hands which pressed Fran back toward the ropes. An elbow shot later and off Fran goes against the whipped against the ropes. On the return, Onegin dropped her flat with a shoulder block using her size advantage. Fran was out for a few moments while Irina smirks at Fran’s first reaction to her power. Fran came to and quickly scoots back on the mat toward the other side of the ropes while Irina looked at her and gave her the silent challenge with her hand to ‘try again.’ Fran wasn’t going to be any bitch about her shit and used the ropes to get back to her feet. She sized up Irina one time with her eyes and pounded her chest to get the blood pumping and takes off. Fran’s clothesline did nothing. Irina smirked again and she said it with the camera view catching her mouth’s movement. ‘Try Again.’
JIN FUMEI: “Irina Onegin smirking at like 9% is by far one of the most creepiest things in professional wrestling.”
CERES BENTON: “She’s testing Fran’s metal but we all are aware of how scrappy and resourceful she is.”
Fran’s face was a little more flushed now with irritation but once again she ran against the ropes. Irina turned to face her as she came back and Fran mixed things up this time speeding past The Graceful Assassin her quickness being her advantage. Before Irina can respond Fran puts her down to her knee with a chop block to the back of the knee. Onegin only falls to a knee. Fran sprung to her feet quickly to follow up with a low dropkick and puts the larger woman down.
Fran wasted no time after dropping Onegin going straight for stomps along her side working the body never giving time to her to recover. Fran lined up while Onegin lays out on her back...impressive Shooting Star Pre---wait a minute...wa-wait a minute, Onegin kept hold of her after the landing and starts to rise to her feet!!
Fran only had enough time to look shocked before she’s adjusted and thrown down to the mat with a Karelin Lift!!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Another prayer unanswered.”
JIN FUMEI: “Are you still counting prayers?”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Or lives lost, either or.”
Onegin moved shortly after pulling Fran away from the ropes going for the pin.
ONE!
TWO!~~KICKOUT!!
Onegin nodded in response to the kickout expecting it. She knew the Captain had more fight in her. She easily pulled Fran up to her feet while Fran tried to find out what hemisphere she is in. Fran figured it out quickly though as Onegin attempts to follow but is stalled when Fran desperately reaches up to rake the eyes of Onegin. The pause was enough for Fran to back-back giving Onegin fifty feet. The strategy game of Fran came into play as she saw the Russian coming to and heading for toward her. Fran set up the bait until the last minute dips low and the Onegin gracefully...well not exactly gracefully, spills over the top ropes to the floor below. Fran took the recuperating time she needed after withstanding the early power of the Assassin.
Onegin attempted to get herself together on the outside and the crowd stirred watching Fran build momentum. She took a couple hops in the middle of the ring before she darts off the ropes to fly back toward the rising Russian with a suicide dive. There’s no catching of the pinball this time, Fran knocked Onegin off her feet and into the guardrail hard! The crowd cheered VERY lightly but gave their credit to the Flexxican while she gets to her feet.
CERES BENTON: “Fran opened things up for her on the outside with this dive. Now’s the chance to---well she’s already doing it.”
The strategist came in hot learning earlier in the match how well Onegin can rebound she closed in on the sitting Irina throwing damaging right and left punches. Referee Morgan Hughes started his count:
One...Two
Onegin slumps more and more until her whole body hits the floor which Fran gets hyped about letting out an ear killing “YAAAWWWLLL!!” before kicking Onegin in the face.
JIN FUMEI: “And now my kids are deaf. Wonderful.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Kids?”
Three...
Followed up with gripping Onegin by the hair, Fran pulled her to the feet. Keeping the grip Fran rans Onegin into the ring post making Onegin’s face meet the metal...the face loses every time. Onegin fell hard to the floor once again.
Four...Five...Six
Golden 1 Arena stirred with the changing tide. Fran looked down at Onegin and second guesses her next attack. Fran heard Morgan Hughes’ count, there’s an opening for the win. Fran rolled into the ring more than willing to take the count-out W. The crowd showed their dismay with Fran choosing this way out.
Seven…
Irina raised up holding her head before looking around and attempting to gather herself.
Eight…
Irina realized things. Irina heard the count. Irina’s face showed a great about of irriation highlighted by Irina’s death stare to Fran. Now Fran realized things. Fran quickly realized she’s in a bad situation.
Nine…
Irina popped up to slide into the ring beating the last second.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Oh no. There’s nothing but evil intent in The Graceful Assassin’s eyes now.”
CERES BENTON: “And Fran’s looks like she’s seen a ghost.”
Fran looked at her with the big eyes and dodged the full force approach of Irina and hightailed it to the other side of the ring. Irina turned to keep her target locked and came for Fran again, Fran dodged the forearm and before Irina could about-face...Jumping Spinning Heel Kick from Fran hit flush!! Irina was out on her feet!! The chance was there so Fran springboards off the ropes and landed a crossbody on Onegin!! How they landed put Fran by the ropes and Fran waited until Morgan Hughes slid in, she kicked her legs up on the ropes during the pin!!
CERES BENTON: “Fran up to her tricks with this get her the pin. Hughes can’t see her legs from that angle!”
JIN FUMEI: “This might be it Irina is out!”
ONE!
TWO!
TH~~KICKOUT!
Fran spilled to the side and jumped right back on Irina again!
ONE!
T~~POWERFUL KICKOUT FROM THE GRACEFUL ASSASSIN!!
JIN FUMEI: “If at first you don’t succeed...”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Run the hell up the rampway immediately?”
Fran flew a decent distance this time and hits the mat on all fours. Fran turned to Morgan Hughes asking him why didn’t he count faster? Morgan Hughes responded by pointing to Irina and told Fran she might want to pay attention. Irina nearly came to her feet which Fran doesn’t want in any fashion. Fran rushed Onegin to keep the woman down. Onegin took a couple shots that stalled her but she fired back with a side hand thrust to the face! Fran felt every inch. Fran swang wildly in response and Onegin goes to her origin gripping her in and...Tsubami Gaeshi Judo Throws Fran to the mat!!
CERES BENTON: “The power in The Graceful Assassin showing off her judo here.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I would have ran a looooong time ago.”
JIN FUMEI: “Fran is in a no escape zone with Irina getting that look. Oh boy.”
Irina looked out into the crowd with the assassin gleam in her eyes as she grabs Fran recklessly to her feet. Irina whipped Fran into the corner where Fran’s back takes the L. Fran hung on the top turnbuckle opening her eyes to get a full speed Russian, heading her way. Stinger splash from Irina! Fran wasn’t allowed to drop though, Irina took that choice away pulling her in and pushing her forward. Fran wobbled near the middle of the ring trying to regain her faded equilibrium but it was too much. Fran succumbed to her knees still trying to fight her body’s need to fall completely over. The artist analyzed the moment taking her thumb and measuring Fran preparing to finish her masterpiece before she takes off...The Graceful Dahila!! The double knees landed directly to the back of Fran’s head and her body can no longer fight the fade…
JIN FUMEI: “Brutal knees to the back of the head!!”
CERES BENTON: “Fran’s devious ways come to a halt with THAT!!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Medic.”
The Graceful Assassin moved in pining Fran gracefully. Morgan Hughes did his job.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
“Blumenkranz” plays throughout the Golden 1 Center as there’s a strong cord of boos and facial expressions of ‘ouch’ shown in the crowd. Irina gets to her feet and observes her work like the critiquing artist she is while Morgan Hughes approaches to raise her hand. She allowed it for only a second before bringing her hand down and held her head due to the damage she took during the match. After that she takes her leave the Impulse Championship #1 Contender.
WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDER TO THE IMPULSE CHAMPIONSHIP: Irina Onegin via pinfall (The Graceful Dahila - 10:09)

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP ELIMINATOR "DON'T DIE, YAMCHA."
Silas Romero vs. Ashlyn Monroe
Mr. Romero was particularly aggressive in his attack as the match began. Had his opponent mirrored is size, then he certainly would have overwhelmed them. However, Ashlyn wasn’t his size. This allowed her effortlessly to avoid his early knockout attempts. Meanwhile, she frustrated his pacing by blasting him with kicks to the legs. Silas retaliated as he smacked her with a couple of shoot kicks of his very own. But that opening him up to another attack. Ashlyn grabbed a hold of his right. A twisted kick appeared before she put him down with a dragon screw whip. Her attack didn’t end there. She leaped into the air and connected with a double knee drop onto that leg.
Ashlyn targeted his knee for a few more minutes. It was a brilliant plan by The Diminutive Dynamo. However, it went south when Ashlyn attempted a moonsault on Silas’ outstretched leg. He baited her in and moved out of the way at the last possible second. Ashlyn got clocked with a sliding forearm as soon as she sat up. From there, Silas began to hammer her forehead with vicious punches. Referee Morgan Hughes stepped in and got Silas to back for, for a moment anyway. Silas made it back to his feet after he patted his leg to get the blood rushing again. Ashlyn stood back up as well. That’s when Silas’ power advantage came into play. Instead of trying to KO her, Silas found solace in hosting and dropping her with a cravate suplex. An overhead press slam followed a few minutes later. Silas went for the pinfall. Despite the punishment she’d received, Ashlyn wasn’t ready to call it a night. She kicked out.
Silas thought he had the match in the bag as he waited for Ashlyn to get up. He motioned a little too heavily for the GKFO. When he set Ashlyn up for it, he had to adjust where the elbow would land, giving Ashlyn enough to dip low and slid underneath his leg, dragging his arm down with him. On the other side, she yanked up, purposefully dragging his own arm into a makeshift low blow. Silas crumbled to the mat as Ashlyn left the ring, waiting for him to get to his feet.
Ashlyn measured Silas before going for the Slingshot DDT. As she came down on him, Silas caught her out of mid-air with a superkick. Ashlyn collapsed, striking the back of her head on the mat. She looked worse for wear after that, struggling to get to her feet. Yet, before the referee could go to administer any aid to her, Silas picked her up and dropped her with Debosu Change .00 (Omega Driver)! Once the damage was dealt, Silas allowed Ashlyn to try to climb up his leg. Her effort got a few cheers from the crowd before Silas put her down with GKFO (Ripcord Elbow). He got the cover and stood up with his arms spread.
WINNER: Silas Romero via pinfall (11:23 - GKFO)

PRO WRESTLING NEO GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP
CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE MATCH
Shane Atwater vs. Tabitha Tremont vs. Nina Stokes vs. Nora Foley vs. Mariano Fernandez vs. Marilyn Lee Cross vs. Ezra Eden vs. DeMarcus Gresham
As the bell rang, the competitors broke away into their individual matches. However, there were some variations throughout. For instance, Nora Foley, one of the biggest people in the matches found herself standing face-to-face with Tabitha Tremont and Marilyn Lee Cross. She looked between both before encouraging them to come at her. When they did, Nora fended them off with her strength before succumbing to Tabitha’s at first. A hard right hook to the jawline set Nora up to get taken down with a belly-to-back suplex. Marilyn looked at Tabitha, who knew of her star-designing feat of dropping KAIJU. She gave her a wink and posed. Nora was getting up and MLC saw a chance. She grabbed Nora and brought her down with a snap Tiger Suplex. Tabitha responded with a genuine clap before MLC told her to come on.
The two began to go at one another until Nora stepped up to both of them and brought them both down with an angered double chokeslam. Elizabeth LeSage referenced to the three-way encounter as watching She-Hulk throw down Captain Marvel and Supergirl. Ceres agreed while Jin gave a confused reaction. But that must have meant that Nina Stokes must have been Lady Deathstrike because a bicycle knee was able to drop Nora Foley. The crowd seemed amazed but MLC and Tabitha didn’t appear to enjoy Nina casually interrupting their strong girl expo and slammed her to the mat with a double suplex.
While Nora wavered from the bicycle knee, she stumbled into the grip of DeMarcus Gresham. In a feat of strength that even would make Nora blush, DeMarcus cleanly lifted her off the ground and crashed her into the mat with the Enlightenment (Spinning Side Slam). He went for the cover soon enough, getting the clean three count amidst the chaos. When he got up, he beamed at the audience, knowing that he had stricken first blood. Tabitha and MLC turned to him with a stunned glare. He turned and tapped the side of his head before getting some distance.
Interim Champion: DeMarcus Gresham (3:44)(1)
A few minutes passed by where the match broke down a little further. Ezra Eden and Mariano Fernandez caught the crowd off guard with them both jumping over the top rope to land mirroring planchas on Nina Stokes and DeMarcus Gresham respectivefully. As Ezra re-entered the ring, he scaled the top rope, wanting to come down on Tabitha Tremont. As he did, he fell into her grip instead. She tucked him and swung him around, sending him crashing into the ascending Mariano, who fell off the top turnbuckle nastily onto the floor. Ezra rebounded off the impact into a quick Nitro Shot (Facebreaker DDT) and Tabitha got the pinfall.
Interim Champion: Tabitha Tremont (6:22)(1)
Mariano took some time getting up to his feet but his recovery was short-lived as DeMarcus grabbed him the back of the neck and hurled him into the steel steps nearby. When DeMarcus crept around, he saw Nora Foley and Nina Stokes tangling up. Seeing a chance to deal some major damage, DeMarcus went full speed around. Nina barrelled out of the way and Nora turned around. DeMarcus looked as if he was going for a spear to Nora but the man must have played some rugby in a past life. He tucked low to the ground and shoulder charged into Nora’s leg, sending her flipping into the ground--a feat not normally seen from the immense woman. She held her leg in agony. DeMarcus shook his head as he looked down at Nora.
He re-entered the ring but as he did, he failed to remember that Nina Stokes saw everything. Even worse, she was planning her next course of attack. She dropped Ode to Dreams (Stiff Forearm to Grounded Opponent) on DeMarcus as he slid into the ring. DeMarcus thrashed around the ring but he found himself getting to his feet. Nina put him back down with Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye) and got the pinfall. When she got up, she tapped on the side of her head, mocking DeMarcus’ arrogant intelligence.
Interim Champion: Nina Stokes (7:00)(1)
Mariano’s earlier crash seemed to only affect him in momentary bursts. The replay showed his collision focusing on his shoulder and hints of his neck. However, he kept his pace through either sheer force of will or the pain wasn’t bothering him. He was certainly getting his revenge on Tabitha, expertly reversing her strength-based offense. When she caught Mariano out of mid-air, he dropped an elbow on the back of his spine before hitting a Tornado DDT. Ezra Eden came down on Tabitha with a frog splash. When he got up, he and Mariano nodded before they went for the opposing ropes. Mariano caught Ezra with a hurricanrana only for Ezra to flip right to his feet. Ezra went for a springboard sunset flip but Mariano rolled through it. The two alternated counters until Ezra caught Mariano with a dropkick to the chest, sending him back into the awaiting Shane Atwater.
Shane caught Mariano in his grasp like a spider, applying The Knot (Chickenwing Octopus Stretch). Ezra, seeing this, came at Shane, trying to break the hold up. He went for the Hand of God (Spinning Backfist) but Shane brought out a clever reversal. He dropped his weight down on Mariano, sending him to the mat and dodging the fist coming at his jaw. Instead, Shane caught it and used it as a crutch for the clutch.
PARABOLA (Wrist Clutch Olympic Slam), knowing that he can’t get a submission, he settled for the pinfall.
Interim Champion: Shane Atwater (11:34)(1)
Shane hung onto the interim championship into the fifteen-minute mark, the halfway point. As the announcement rang, it seemed a switch was turned on with everyone. Unfortunately, the same was for Shane Atwater. As many of the wrestlers entered the ring, Shane found himself surrounded. Many thought that he would be easy pickings but he went off some crazy martial arts tangent. When Nina Stokes tried for a kick, he grabbed the leg and whipped her into the oncoming Ezra Eden before looping around him to hit a Snap German Suplex. When Tabitha Tremont tried to take him down, he tied her up in a crucifix submission but had to let go. Instead, he started to weave her arms around his legs because DeMarcus Gresham was trying to overpower in a test of strength. As DeMarcus brought Shane down to the mat, the torque was amplified on Tabitha’s arms.
Shane moved to the side, forcing DeMarcus’ own momentum and strength to play against him. Shane trapped DeMarcus in a kimura lock. The crowd was in a frenzy at the spectacle until Nora Foley came forward. Her strength ripped DeMarcus away from Shane and he was sent into the ground with a gutwrench suplex. Shane broke the hold on Tabitha to get away but Nora ran forward and hit him with FAUGH A BALLAGH (Striking Spear)! With Shane stunned, Nora brought him up for Airitech’s Lullaby (Inverted Death Valley Driver). Yet, before the impact, Marilyn Lee Cross rushed from the other side, onto the ropes, and launched herself full force at Nora, hitting Catch Your Breath (Spear)! She got the pinfall.
Interim Champion: Marilyn Lee Cross (15:24)(1)
A few minutes had passed and people were bringing out the big guns. Nora had gotten her vengeance on Marilyn Lee Cross dropping her with Swan Song (Chokeslam), shaking the entire ring with the force. Shane Atwater got dropped with a Black Diamond from DeMarcus Gresham after a John Woo Dropkick from Ezra set him up perfectly. Tabitha Tremont’s Tiger Suplex to Nina Stokes was a thing of beauty. However, despite the array of hard-hitting moves, people were refusing to stay down.
For Manny, it had to be something different. As Shane Atwater came around, Mariano attempted a rolling Koppu Kick but Shane caught it. Mariano brought down his other leg against Shane’s jaw, forcing the break. Mariano rolled backward and Shane crept forward. Manny then rose up and sprayed out Asian Mist, but this time, it was tinted blue. Elizabeth stated that it was meant to put someone to sleep. Shane didn’t, though, he stumbled around, trying to resist the effects. Mariano helped him out, hitting him with the second part of the TROLLFACE (Shining Wizard)! He went for the pinfall.
Interim Champion: Mariano Fernandez (18:20)(1)
People believed that the belt was immediately going to come off Mariano as DeMarcus Gresham came up behind Mariano. He waited for him to turn around before hitting him in the stomach with a knee lift. He got some space and hit a thunderous lariat, sending Mariano straight into the mat. Mariano, ever resilient, began to get up, but DeMarcus predicted that. He came back and struck Mariano in the side of the head with Determination (Yakuza Kick). Yet, as he was going for The Enlightenment, Tabitha Tremont picked him up on her shoulders and brought him down with the Argentine Bomb!
She went for the pinfall but Nina Stokes broke it up. Phase II must have come out as she grabbed onto Tremont’s arms and unleashed a frenzied series of curb stomps. Marilyn Lee Cross came to assist her fellow competitor but Nina hit her with a back elbow, turned around, and unleashed the Ego Killer (KENTA Rush) on her. Nina got up, kicking Marilyn out of the ring with a nasty expression. As she turned around, Nora Foley sized her up, not exactly entertained at the disrespect towards her friend. Nina slapped her across the face but Nora’s face barely budged. Another slap came but Nora caught it and twisted Nina’s hand around--except she didn’t see the headbutt coming. Nora stumbled back, holding her mouth, checking for immediate blood. Nina tried to gain the advantage but Nora struck her down to the mat with a headbutt block.
Nina got up, holding her chest. Nora came forward and, with ease, picked Nina onto her shoulders. Airitech’s Lullaby (Inverted Death Valley Driver) connected! Nora tried for the cover but Ezra Eden came down onto them both with a Diving Moonsault! Nora fell off Nina and Ezra saw his chance to bring the hurt woman to her feet and drop her with Gates of Eden (Hammerlock DDT)!
Interim Champion: Ezra Eden (25:01)(1)
With the five-minute remaining mark looming over everyone’s head, chaos ensued. People were no longer going for flashy counters, some much as trying to batter someone into submission. Nina hit another Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III on Tabitha Tremont but it got broken up by Marilyn Lee Cross. DeMarcus managed to bring Shane Atwater, who was still struggling from the mist, into the Checkmate, but Mariano hit the Shining Wizard of the TROLLFACE on DeMarcus. The pin was broken by Shane. As Mariano and Shane tried to get up, they both got rushed down by Tabitha, who sent them both out of the ring with a dual shoulder charge. From there, she lifted DeMarcus and planted him with TNT (Spinning Powerbomb)!
Interim Champion: Tabitha Tremont (26:51)(2)
Sadly for Tabitha, Nora Foley grabbed onto her and planted her with Swan Song. In a feat of strength, Nora lifted Tabitha back up and sent her into the ropes. As she came back, Nora planted her with Andraste's Hammer (Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker)!
Interim Champion: Nora Foley (27:06)(1)
Nora Foley favored her leg, the brunt of DeMarcus’ more heinous move earlier coming back to haunt her. As she tried to lift Tabitha Tremont, her knee buckled. Tabitha fell over the back of her tall opponent, which led to Nora eating a kick to the gut. Tabitha then hit TNT (Spinning Powerbomb), much to the crowd’s elation. As Tabitha fell into the ropes, trying to regain her strength, Shane Atwater rushed at her with a clothesline but Tabitha reversed it and both parties fell over the top rope. Sadly for them both, they both collided viciously with the ring apron and barely padded outside mat. Ezra Eden came forward and took hold of Nora’s leg, securing Bethlehem (Heel Hook). Nora resisted as long as she could, but to prevent further damage, she tapped out.
Interim Champion: Ezra Eden (27:51)(2)
Marilyn Lee Cross threw hands back and forth with DeMarcus Gresham before running off the ropes. DeMarcus threw the young woman high into the air, hoping to catch her with one of those vicious lariats. To his shock, MLC brought knees down against his face, hitting a Meteora on the Enlightened One. As she got up, she waited for him to get up, taking aim at the back of his head. As she went for John Wilkes Boot (Yakuza Kick to the Back of Opponent’s Head), Nina Stokes came flying out, hitting MLC with a Slice of Grace (Throat Punch)! MLC whipped around, giving her back to Nina, who slammed her down with Death Reborn (Backdrop Driver)!
Interim Champion: Nina Stokes (28:59)(2)
DeMarcus Gresham stumbled around the ring, trying to catch his bearings from weight and knees crashing into his skull. Ezra Eden waited for him, seeing a vulnerable target. DeMarcus ran into Tabitha Tremont, hitting a chop block to the front of her knee. Tabitha held her leg in agony but DeMarcus failed to notice that Ezra was coming at him. Aeternus (Flying Scissor Kick) knocked DeMarcus to the mat and Gates of Eden got Ezra the pinfall.
Interim Champion: Ezra Eden (29:32)(3)
Ezra didn’t have time to reflect on his acquisition before MLC hit the Mary Go Round (Discus Big Boot), knocking him clean into the ropes. MLC then lifted Ezra in a tilt-a-whirl and hit a sudden and important Criss Cross (Crossed Legged Sitout Tombstone)! She got the pinfall with fifteen seconds remaining. Exhausted from this match and the one prior, MLC fell onto her back.
Interim Champion: Marilyn Lee Cross (29:45)(2)
As she got to a knee, MLC heard the triumphant roar of “FOR THE EMPEROR” and Mariano Fernandez came down with THE WARHAMMER (Phenomenal Forearm)! The crowd sparked to life as Mariano got the pinfall with ten seconds remaining! Mariano got up to his knees, feeling a sudden rush of energy. Everyone seemed to be down. Mariano held it together, trying to stand up.
Interim Champion: Mariano Fernandez (29:50)(2)
As he got up, a chorus of boos met his pinfall on Marilyn. He looked momentarily confused until he noticed people in the front row trying to warn him. As he turned around, a steel chair met his face, sending to the mat with a thin line of blood bubbling from a wound. Standing in the ring was the number one contender to the Grand Prix Championship, Grace van Beek. She didn’t mind the symphony of hatred meeting her. As she looked over at the fallen competitors, she went over and dragged Nora’s arm over Mariano’s chest. Referee Morgan Hughes had no choice but to count the pin. It was a no-DQ match after all.
Interim Champion: Nora Foley (29:58)(2)
Grace van Beek exited the ring, heading over to the timekeeper’s area. She gazed at the Grand Prix Championship there and took into her clutches. She walked into the ring as the time began to expire.
DING! DING!! DING!!!
ERIN LAMBERT: “...Here’s your winner and, uh, new--NEW PRO WRESTLING NEO GRAND PRIX CHAMPION...NORA FOOOOOOLEEEEEEY!”
Grace lowered down to Nora, placing the championship across her waist. She lifted Nora’s arm weakly, chuckling to herself. When she dropped it, she kicked Nora’s body aside and left the ring. Many of the other competitors were too tired to try to do anything. Grace van Beek stopped on the ramp, staring back at the recovering Nora, who looked around aimlessly. She saw the championship belt on her and looked back at Grace, who left her with a tug of the lips.
WINNER AND NEW PRO WRESTLING NEO GRAND PRIX CHAMPION: Nora Foley via pinfall (30:00)

MAIN EVENT PRO WRESTLING NEO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP "HEAVEN"
Blaise Fader vs. William Bateman
ERIN LAMBERT: “This match is your main event of the evening and it’s scheduled for one fall.”
“ONE FALL!”
ERIN LAMBERT: “And it is for the Pro Wrestling NEO World Championship!”
The slow, methodical instrumental and light vocals of Stormzy’s “Big For Your Boots” filled the arena, causing the crowd to not only dance to the theme but cheer loudly. A jet of smoke erupted from the stage, where only a silhouette of the incoming competitor gave any indication of their arrival. Blaise Fader made her way through the smoke and into the spotlight, where the nervous energy of one in the main event glazed her face. She stared around the arena, seeing the chanting audience. Her face fell from its competitive energy into a gentle, thankful expression, something of a Kodak moment.
“BLAISE! BLAISE! BLAISE!”
Blaise clapped her hands together and gave the audience a pair of victory V’s. As she did, it invited a rain of sparks to blanket her. She gave the audience a smile and started down with frantic excitement.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing first...from Coventry, England...weighing in at a 240 pounds...BLAISE FAAAAADER!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I almost feel bad for her.”
CERES BENTON: “Why is that? Blaise Fader has finally come out—she has done an exceptional job making it to the main event here tonight. She first defeated HENNY, who was riding a hot streak from HKW. She survived a horrific onslaught by the hands of Irina Onegin and Silas Romero to advance into the fatal four way. There, she defeated Evelyn Kuller, Lyza Reyes, and Kyra McKnight! So why feel bad?”
JIN FUMEI: “It’s the person she’s facing.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Blaise is talented, she’s exceptional, she’s always evolving. But she came from the independents. There’s a lot of things that go into playing on the biggest stage, this is the World Series, the NBA Finals, and the long road to a match where she leaves with everything or nothing. Lyza? She got a chance to move forward. Hagen, earlier in the night, when he won, he saved himself from his doom, but that’s still progression. If Blaise isn’t ready, if she hasn’t gotten herself ready for the atmosphere? It doesn’t matter how many people cheer her, William Bateman will eat her alive. From there? No one knows what Kageyama-san has in store for either of these two. As far as we know, losing this match could just as bad as losing in the ‘finals.’”
JIN FUMEI: “…Elizabeth?”
CERES BENTON: “That was…”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I’m not just meme material. I just save it for these kinds of matches.”
Keeping with the upbeat, frenetic tempo of her music, Blaise made her way down the ramp, slapping hands and taking part in selfies with fans, making it a point to lap the ringside area for high fives all around. Not exactly fit enough to dive through the ropes or leap onto the ring apron, Blaise took the steel steps and vaulted herself over the ropes, working the crowd on each side of the ring. She rose Victory V's from each turnbuckle. From there, she relaxed in her corner, instead of shadowboxing. William Bateman was on his way.
And boy, did he make everyone wait.
The overhead lights faded to black, draping the arena in darkness beyond the ever-present flicker of flashes from cell phones and cameras. For several long moments, that darkness is left to reign…only ceasing when the bassline of Kanye West’s “Hell of a Life” came thumping through the PA system in all of it’s distorted glory; the uptempo rhythm causing a strobe of white and hot pink lights to burst to life, pulsing in time with the bass as milky white fog rose from the base of the stage. Even before his appearance, the crowd let Bateman have it.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing her opponent...from Los Angeles, California..weighing in at a 220 pounds...I’m still not calling him that...the Pretty Boy Assassin...WILLIAM BATEMAAAAN!”
CERES BENTON: “Oh…they’re just as vulgar as at the deathmatch show.”
JIN FUMEI: “They…they really hate this man.”
It’s only as the full instrumentation broke loose that the ‘Pretty Boy Assassin’ made his presence known-an almost expectant look upon his face. Yet, he can only sneer as he received only full on hate. He took a moment to take a bow as if their jeering was something that he brought forward, something he commanded. His walk was a slow and purposeful one, taken at his leisure and performed with a certain swagger; each step taken with a slight bounce as he stroked over his beard between long glances over the audience he deemed as his own. The incredible image of him walking between fully extended middle fingers was going to be something for the highlight reel.
CERES BENTON: “Well, Elizabeth, give us your thoughts on Bateman. I know you’re not fond on him, especially since you’re Elena’s best friend.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I’m not biased because it’s what Bateman thrives off of. When you’re as good as him, when you’re as poilished as he is, you can start to live off the hatred of people and translate it to jealousy. Now in regards to his prowess here in NEO, I didn’t expect anything different. Using his tactics and experience, he can say that he has breezed by in the tournament. He’s one of the favorites for a reason. The overwhelming gap between him and Blaise comes from the fact that he has long since stood on top of the wrestling world. That’s going to make matters so difficult for Blaise. There’s no nervousness in his body. There’s only the will to win and the lack of morals to accomplish that goal.”
JIN FUMEI: “Once again, fantastic work.”
At the end of the ramp, his arms rose out to either side and his head bowing-as if soaking in the mixture of adulation or hatred. His arms rose higher, deftly avoiding the outreached hands of the unwashed masses, even as he turned his back toward the ring to continue that arrogant, meandering march toward the bottom of the ramp. It’s only once that he’s there that he’s turning around again, looking out over the crowd again as he paced along the ring side area, idly searching for a person he deems attractive enough to offer a selfie to. It’s only after that person is found and that selfie is given (with security direction to keep undesirables out of the shot), that he’s climbing up the ring steps and onto the apron.Pacing along the apron, an outstretched hand sweeped over the crowd before rising slowly, as though demanding their adulation once more. The process repeated itself once or twice, ceasing only once he was satisfied before he’s suddenly rushing the corner, a few running steps leading him up the outside of the turnbuckles before he’s somersaulting into the ring. Rather than landing on his feet however, ‘Christ Himself’ rolled through, coming to a knee in the center of the ring...before dramatically throwing his arms out to the side and rising, slowly but surely, with a trademark grin tugging at his lips, almost as though to say that the ‘Real’ show has his permission to start now. It’s only after drinking in the moment that he’s slowly backpedaled towards a corner of his choosing, his attention wandering out toward the crowd as he idly fixed his hair.
DING! DING!!
Blaise and William circled around the ring, feeling out the atmosphere. Blaise stopped midway, looking Bateman up and down. Bateman took the time to strike a pose, enjoying the backlash he got. Blaise snickered and told him to come on over. Bateman’s eyebrow arched as she encouraged him to come to fight. In retort, Bateman moved towards his corner and propped up on it, telling Blaise that she fights on his terms, not the other way around.
Blaise merely stood there on the opposite end, glaring out at her opponent before she walked over towards him. On instinct, William Bateman reached out and smacked Blaise across the face and shoved her back, telling her that it wasn’t time just yet. He had to stretch. Blaise continued to stand there with a slowly dying smile on her face while Bateman proceeded to stretch his arm out. Blaise then reached across and sent him careening into the mat with a biel throw. When Bateman got up, he heard the crowd roaring behind him. He popped his back and thanked Blaise sarcastically for helping him with that. Blaise charged in, but this time, he dodged around her and smacked her across the back of the head.
Blaise stood upright, staring out towards the audience, where the rage bubbled underneath her skin. Yet, she swallowed and turned around, clapping her head to encourage the audience to speak their minds. Bateman’s eyebrow furrowed as he shrugged. He decided to walk the ring, listening to the crowd straight to ramp up until he decided to go for a collar-and-elbow with Blaise. When it happened, it came easily to Bateman to counter any shift in momentum that she tried. From there, he merely swept her to the mat and secured a rudimentary headlock.
Blaise got out of it and tried to secure a rear-waist lock but Bateman hit a quick snapmare. This time, he applied a chin lock before slowly drawing back to his feet. He gave her a kick to the spine that ran Blaise rigid. She began to get to her feet, where Bateman awaited her with another condescending slap to the back of the head. As Blaise got up, she shoved him back before going to the ropes. She came off them, trying to send him down with a shoulder tackle, but Bateman weaved around it with a tiger spin flair before jumping high with an enzuigiri to the back of Blaise’s head. When Blaise fell to the mat, Bateman put his foot on top of her shoulder, getting referee Matsuda Sumiko to get in the first pinfall attempt of the match.
ONE!
KICKOUT!
Instead of looking dejected, Bateman merely dropped his knee down across Blaise’s head before getting back to his feet. Once from there, he got to his feet and hit a standing moonsault. He stood up and hit a standing 450. When he got to his feet the last time, Bateman took off for the ropes, looking to complete some trifecta but stopped mid-way. He told the audience that it was too much effort for Blaise and planted the foot back against her shoulder.
ONE!
KICKOUT!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “This isn’t looking good.”
JIN FUMEI: “No, William Bateman is actively stunting, as the kids would say, on Blaise Fader.”
CERES BENTON: “Don’t ever say that again but you’re right, Fumei-san.”
Bateman went to Blaise’s leg, lifting it up and peering out to the audience. He placed some well-targeted kicks to her inner thigh before hitting a grounded dragon screw. Blaise yelled out in pain as she struggled to get back to a vertical base. Bateman ran in and clipped her leg out from under her, sending her to the mat. He pulled her away from the ropes and went for a STF but Blaise powered through and grabbed the ropes before William could settle in a hold. Instead, he opted to stomp on the back of Blaise’s head and gain some distance from her. While she made her way to her feet, droplets of blood fell to the mat. Bateman remained in his corner while Matsuda administered some aid to Blaise’s nose, making sure it wasn’t broken. Blaise told her that she wasn’t hurt that badly, a bloody nose wasn’t anything much.
Blaise encouraged Bateman to come back out from his corner. Bateman lolled his tongue in his mouth before deciding to. He and Blaise locked up again and his superior wrestling ability took hold again. He easily got her into an arm wrench, slowly turning Blaise’s wrist. Blaise then lowered herself to the mat, but it wasn’t enough to alleviate the pain nor stop Bateman’s advance. He transitioned into a chickenwing and kicked out Blaise’s leg. He rested his knee on the small of her back before taking her arm. With a look to the crowd, he shrugged and snapped the arm back, whipping it across the mat. Blaise held her arm in pain as Bateman got off her. When she rolled onto her back, though, Bateman took her into a cross armbreaker, smirking while he applied pain to the limb.
Blaise rotated on the ground, planting her feet, but Bateman was able to keep the hold locked in. Blaise dropped down to a knee, positioning herself right before she dropped a hammer fist down on Bateman. It softened the hold enough for Blaise to finally get a counter. She opted for the best approach: use her advantage. She sent herself over and smashed into Bateman with an elbow drop. Bateman’s eyes widened as Blaise’s elbow found his solar plexus. When Blaise got up, she started to drag Bateman to his feet but the Pretty Boy Assassin had other plans and abandoned the ring. Blaise didn’t give chase, giving herself some space to recover. Bateman re-entered the ring upon a neutral base, nodding at Blaise.
CERES BENTON: “What was that about? He had all the time to think about what he needed to do.”
JIN FUMEI: “He already has a plan. He’s keeping the neutral.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Making sure that if Blaise has a chance to make a move, she can’t?”
JIN FUMEI: “He resets the playing field which he has proven to have the edge in.”
Blaise didn’t go for the collar-and-elbow this time, instead trying for the test of strength. Bateman obliged. It was a gungho effort from Blaise but Bateman’s earlier damage to her arm came into play as Bateman began to win the battle. Blaise tried to go low to take him up for a wrestling takedown but she ate a knee on the way in. Bateman took hold of her hair and battered her with Kawada kicks before stopping and striking her down with a middle side kick. Blaise crumbled to the mat, more blood coming out of her nose. Bateman kept kicking at the side of her head, telling her that she quit any time she was done being embarrassed.
His opponent began to crawl to her feet, wiping the blood from her nose. She stood in front of Bateman, who tried to explain it to her. She then patted him on the shoulder before telling him that the match was still going on--and he should stop trying to talk her out of it. Bateman’s face contorted with some latent fury and he took Blaise down for more Kawada kicks. He kept going even when Blaise fell to her knees. Referee Matsuda came forward to stop the assault, but when she did, Blaise roared to her feet and took Bateman down with a rising headbutt. The collison made the crowd reel and Bateman turned around. Blaise saw a chance and brought him down with a German Suplex, rolled through, and lifted him up for a second. She tried for the hat trick but Bateman held onto the ropes. He smacked into Blaise’s arm, trying to break the hold, but Blaise held on and sent him down with another one, keeping the bridge.

When Bateman got up, Blaise met him with a hard chop. Then another. She kept alternating before Bateman came up with another high kick. Blaise dodged around it and kept the chops coming. Bateman weathered the storm before Blaise ran off the ropes. Bateman leaped over Blaise, hooked his legs around her shoulders, and tried to bring her down with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. Blaise caught him, hung on, and sat down on him, pinning his shoulders down.

KICKOUT!
Blaise got up, ran off the ropes, and returned for Bateman, sending him careening across the mat with a heavy shoulder tackle. Bateman, a little off-guard, started to stand in the corner. Blaise came running in for a corner crossbody but Bateman reached out and caught her with a knee to the head. Yet, the momentum sent them both into the turnbuckle. Yet, Blaise hit the mat and wasn’t moving. Bateman, on the other hand, walked out of the corner, sighing heavily. He pulled Blaise from the corner and went for a double jump moonsault. Blaise, through some instinct, rolled out of the way. Bateman landed on his feet but the impact seemed...off.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “That looked messy.”
JIN FUMEI: “He had to adjust in mid-air, of course it did.”
When Blaise got to her feet, Bateman threw out Shotei, Motherfucker (Shotei) but Blaise ducked underneath it. She took off for the ropes and came back to greet Bateman with Exocet (Running Big Boot)! The crowd sparked to life but Bateman merely kipped up. Blaise turned around and got caught with a Pele Kick, knocking her back down to the mat. When Bateman got up, he had a smile on his face and gave a bow to the audience.
JIN FUMEI: “How did he just take that--”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “He didn’t. He fell into the kick and got back up.”
CERES BENTON: “Goddammit, he’s good!”
When Blaise got up, that time was the time for the Shotei! Blaise fell to the mat and Bateman fell across for the pin.

KICKOUT!
When Blaise got up the shoulder up, Bateman looked at her with a strange expression. When he got up, he started to stomp on her head with very precise aim. Blaise started to get up with the crowd rallying behind her. She held the back of her head but she locked eyes with Bateman. Bateman, on the other hand, merely gave her an incredulous look and mouthed “ah, fuck that.” He threw out a roundhouse kick, catching Blaise in the back of the head, but she didn’t fall. He went for another, but Blaise caught his leg. Bateman got sent around but he came back with a Dragon Whip kick.
Blaise ducked underneath it!

JIN FUMEI: “Did you feel the pressure change?!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “That was the exact opening that Blaise needed!” CERES BENTON: “She has to capitalize! She has to right now!”
Blaise left the ring, eyeing Bateman trying to get up. With a hope and a prayer, she fell over for Pip Pip Cheer-Hilo (Slingshot Somersault Senton)!
Bateman moved!
As Blaise collided into the mat, Bateman scooted away, dragging his hand down his face. As he stared at Blaise, he shook his head, looking around at the arena. From there, he heard something that made him cringe. As he got up, the chanting only grew louder. For a moment, she stood there, gazing down at the fallen Blaise Fader. The camera caught the confliction in his face, something was going on in his mind, and only he knew what.
Just the universal support for the woman getting up.
Bateman ran forward and kicked Blaise in the side of the head before dropping her with a crowd-rocking Tiger Suplex! He lifted her up and dropped her again with a Dragon Suplex. Once more, he got up with Blaise before dropping her with Outshined (Cross Leg Sheer Drop Brainbuster Onto Knee). When he dropped her onto the knee, Bateman fell back on the mat, looking exasperated...exhausted even. As he began to get up, he tapped on his knee, gritting his teeth. He fell back on top of Blaise with a sneer.

KICKOUT!
Bateman got up, staring down at Blaise. He began to stumble back to his corner while Blaise starting to get to her feet. When on her feet, with blood running down her face, Blaise motioned for Bateman to come on. Bateman came in, hitting a low dropkick to Blaise’s leg, sending her into the mat again. Bateman got to his feet and waited for her to get up, going for Californication (Spike Hurricanrana) but Blaise threw him into the mat face-first. While Bateman tried to recover but Blaise brought him and slammed him hard with her brutal Pull-Up Piledriver!
CERES BENTON: “I think I heard a crunch!”
Blaise fell for the cover!

JIN FUMEI: “Bateman is still in this!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “But you see the knee! The knee is hurt! That’s the one he hits the GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG with!”
Blaise got up, trying once more for the Pull-Up Piledriver but Bateman slumped low. Blaise struggled to lift him up until he managed to hit Blaise with a scorpion kick, cracking her in the nose. The rare move sent Blaise stumbling back. Bateman lifted Blaise up for The Kill (Psycho Driver) but his knee buckled. He lowered down, much to the crowd’s delight.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I told you--oh my god!”
With his teeth gritted, Bateman lifted himself back up and dropped Blaise down with the Kill! He went for the pin!

Bateman ran his hands through his hair, visibly frustrated that Blaise kicked out. He got up, smacking her head with repeated blows. Each tag made Blaise get up more and more until Bateman and her were locking eyes once more. Bateman shoved Blaise back and went for the GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG (540 Knee Strike), almost a move of desperation. But he fell into a standing big boot from Blaise. She pulled him in and dropped Bateman once more with the Pull-Up Piledriver! She fell on top of him.

KICKOUT!
Blaise got up once more, looking around the audience for an answer. As she got up, she realized that two of the piledrivers didn’t do the trick. They put away anyone she hit them with. She headed for the top rope. Bateman was still on the ground, but he began to get up. Blaise was still climbing by the time he did. When he rushed to get to her, something happened.
It was a momentary lock-up.
Bateman tried to drag his leg as his knee finally caught up with him.
It was a second--but it was all Blaise needed to come down on him with Blaise of Glory (Diving Senton)!
As the two collided into the mat, Blaise rolled off Bateman, holding her back. She was almost hyperventilating at the impact, having to swallow her fear of flying to bring Bateman down. William Bateman was down, not moving. His head had collided with the mat. Blaise crawled her way towards him. She gritted her teeth, her bloodstained teeth, and threw one arm over Bateman’s body.
Referee Matsuda fell to the mat.

The roof of the building might have hit the stars.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Here is your winner and NEW PRO WRESTLING NEO WORLD CHAMPION...BLAISE FAAAAAADEEEER!”
JIN FUMEI: “Oh. Oh my god. How did--no, not possible.”
CERES BENTON: “BLAISE HAD DONE IT, BLAISE HAS DONE IT!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “PRETTY BOY GOT PUT DOWN! HELL YEAH!”
As Blaise started to get to her feet, she had buried her face in her hands, knowing that it was the end. Bateman was already coming to, whipping off the mat, ready for a fight. Soon, he looked around. He saw Blaise holding back tears...and failing. He heard the crowd roaring in approval. As he spun around, he froze in place. A reality was brought to fruition that he wasn’t aware of. Yet, his eyes were preoccupied on a person entering the ring with the Pro Wrestling NEO World Championship.
CERES BENTON: “Is that our GM?!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I...I think so!”
T.J. Jones walked past Bateman, heading towards Blaise. Blaise turned around, seeing TJ with a wide-eyed expression. He motioned for her to turn so he can put the belt on her. Blaise busily tried to make herself ready for the cameras. Bateman remained on the side for a moment, taking in the sight before him. Suddenly, he abandoned the ring, an eerie calmness over him as he turned to leave. Blaise held an arm proud as TJ rose the other. Confetti began to fall from the sky as the copyright information began to cross the screen.
The Era of Fader had begun.
