PRO WRESTLING NEO INSURGENCE - NIGHT ONE LIVE FROM THE GOLDEN 1 CENTER IN SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
OPENER
PRO WRESTLING NEO REPUBLIC CHAMPIONSHIP
"GLORY"
Tiffany Tompkins vs. Ricky Sykes (c)
The crowd pops as "Very Ape" by Nirvana begins to play. As the tune kicks in, Tiffany Tompkins emerges on the stage, donning her usual ring gear and sporting a pair of sunglasses, geared up and ready to go with a smirk on her face. She throws a devil horns gesture into the air before making her way down to the ring.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing first...from Newark, New Jersey...weighing in at a 119 pounds...TIFFANY TOMPKIIIIIINS!”
CERES BENTON: “Don’t let the size fool you. Tiffany Tompkins steps in tonight as a vengeful challenger, looking to add another belt to her resume. She has exploded into the wrestling scene since graduating from the RISE gym.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “She has good taste too. Android 18 is waifu--”
JIN FUMEI: “She walks into the mouth of an angry brit ready to punch her head in. Ricky’s no guest, he’s a man on a mission to do what he wants, when he wants.”
She slaps a few hands of the fans on her way down the ramp as she walks with a purpose to the ring. As she arrives at ringside, she takes a moment to look around before walking over to the steps, climbing onto the apron and squeezing between the middle and bottom ropes. In the ring, she throws another devil horn gesture into the air, much to the enjoyment of the fans. With the fanfair over and done with however, she puts her sunglasses to the side, backs into her corner and begins warming up, anxiously awaiting for the fight to begin.
Tiffany stood in the ring, eyeing the entranceway with a dormant rage. Soon enough, the militant drum beat of “The Eyeballs of War” bombarbed the audio system while the crowd began to show their vehemence for the man making his way out. With the JCP Championship lazily in his grip, Ricky stood at the entranceway with a look of equal hate towards the audience and the woman in the ring. He absently scratched under his chin before giving a section of the crowd the V sign.
ERIN LAMBERT: “And introducing the champion...fighting out of Sunderland, England...weighing in tonight at a 211 pounds...he is the reigning and defending JCP Champion...RICKYYYYYYYYYYY SYYYYYKEEEES!”
JIN FUMEI: “That’s the last time you’re going to see the JCP Championship. That said, Ricky may walk out here with a whole new belt. He has the tools to do so. He has foregone with honor, opting to just batter anything that moves that he doesn’t like.”
CERES BENTON: “Will Karma finally do its part?”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Ricky would drop Karma on its neck if he heard you.”
Ricky entered the ring and opted to get close to Tiffany, but not so much but to only encourage the referee to draw close to him. He handed the belt off and proceeded to berate Tiffany from his corner. The referee held up the championship high before heading off out of the way. It was time for NEO’s first ever championship match.
DING! DING!
Not even a second passed before Tiffany rushed the champion. She reared back and caught him with a nasty forearm to the chest. It didn’t make him falter, but the bewildered look on his face indicated that he didn’t think she would come at him with such force. But she did, and she continued to boop him with stern forearms. The champ simply stood there and took them. However, around the fifth or sixth shot, it was clear that he’d had enough. In the blink of an eye, he lifted his right arm and drilled her in the side of the neck with a forearm of his own. The blow halted her attack and forced her down to a knee. But it wasn’t long before Ricky snapmared her into a seated position. An elbow caught Tiffany in the back of the neck. A pain-filled groan eminanted from her core. The sound brought a sly smirk to Ricky’s face. That’s when he pivoted, planted his weight on his left foot, and blasted Tiffany in the lower back with a soccer kick. The THUD that it made was sickening. Her body contorted a bit as she writhed around in pain for a secord or two. And then she did something surprising—
She sat right back up.
TIFFANY TOMPKINS: “Is that all you’ve got?”
Ricky let out a short laugh. But all the humor faded when he cocked back and drilled her with another soccer kick. Tiffany’s resulting scream could be heard throughout the arena. And yet? She slammed her fist on the mat, gritted her teeth, and stood back to her feet.
This caused Ricky to grunt. And then? He dropped down to the mat, crossed his legs.
RICKY SYKES: “So weak.”
Afterwards, he motioned for Tiffany to give him her best shot. She obliged by giving him a soccer kick of her own. Another deafening THUD. It caused Ricky to wince in pain. Even so, he made it back up to his feet.
And this time, Tiffany willingly sat down and crossed her legs.
Ricky shook his head. He knew this was battle that she didn’t want. But he couldn’t be bothered to care. He reared back and connected with another kick. That one flattened Tiffany. She clutched her back and stomped down on the mat once. But after a moment, she rolled onto her stomach and began to stand back up. A burning fire was in those eyes.
The battle of “who can kick harder” went on for another couple of rounds until Ricky switched things up and hit her a two-piece: a soccer kick to the lower back and then to her chest. This allowed him to drop down for the pinfall. Referee Sumiko Matsuda made the count:
ONE!
TWO!
Tiffany rolled and lifted her left shoulder off of the mat. Ricky quickly got back to his feet. From there, he began stalking his prey. Whenever she’d try to make it to a knee, he gave her swift boot the the head. The boots weren’t painful, per se. If anything, they were intended to insult and mock. Tiffany was finally able to make it back to her feet, but she was yoked up and driven into the corner turnbuckle. Ricky clocked her with body punches until she collapsed to the mat. Afterwards, he connected with a series of face-wash boots. Ricky shot himself into the ropes after the third one. He rebounded and looked to shatter Tiffany with a running knee—
But she moved out of the way.
Ricky’s knee slammed against the middle turnbuckle pad. Sharp pain shot up his bones. But before he really react, Tiffany ran in and drove her left shoulder into his right quad. Ricky fell into the corner. That gave Tiffany a much needed opening.
She held onto the top rope as she began to smack Ricky with rapid fire shoot kicks to the back. After maybe the seventh one, Ricky spun around and took ahold of foot. He then launched her backwards. Fortunately for her, Tiffany was able to roll through and land on her feet. She quickly regained her bearings and charged in. She flipped her body and crashed into Ricky with a running cannonball senton. Afterwards, she grabbed onto his boot and pulled him out of the corner. From there, she went for the cover:
ONE!
TWO!
The champion wasn’t finished yet. He kicked out with some authority and sent Tiffany flying. Both wrestlers took a moment to catch their breath as Sumiko administered a ten-count:
One...Two...Three...Four…
Tiffany was able to make it back up to his feet.
Five...Six… Seven…
Mr. Sykes used the ropes to help him regain a vertical base. But he had little time to rest as Tiffany charged at him. However, his instincts took over. Ricky darted in her direction and completed a running standing switch; it disorientated her. This allowed him to shove her into the ropes. She rebounded and blasted him with a big boot to his chest. It sent her opponent into the adjacent ropes. Ricky bounced back and flattened her with a boot of his own. Tiffany dropped to the mat.
That’s when he started to pick the Tiny Hoss apart with stomps. One to her right arm. One to her left arm. One to her right leg. One to her left kneecap. Two to the sternum. He completed his moshing by scraping the bottom of his boot across Tiffany’s forehead. She grabbed hold of her head. But at that point, her full body began to ache from all the punishment she’d received. Ricky gave her menacing glance as she rolled around a bit. That’s when he dropped down to the mat. He took ahold of her right arm and trapped it with his knee. Then he twisted her left arm away from her body. This left the young woman defenseless to his onslaught of downward elbows. The first couple were nasty. And then they really started to rain down. Tiffany’s body rocked violently with each elbow. The last one caused her tiny frame to go rigid as she slumped to the mat.
Ricky went to kick a prone Tiffany, but Sumiko rushed in. She told him to back away. Ricky took a couple of steps back as Sumiko leaned down to check to see if Tiffany was still conscious. But Ricky’s the shoving demon reappeared as he moved Sumiko out of the way. He sought to continue his attack until the Head Referee snatched him up.
SUMIKO MATSUDA: “Lay another finger on me, and I’ll disqaulifiy you and petition to have you striped of the championship.”
He might have pushed his luck against another referee, but not against Sumiko. Instead, he let out a deep sigh of frustration.
All the comotion took the focus away from Tiffany. And while Ms. Matsuda was laying down the law, Tiffany was able roll onto a knee. She got to her feet as soon as Ricky let out his exasperation. From there, she leapt up once again—
SMACK!
Her right hand made contact with the side of his face. She seemed to catch her second wind as she landed back on her feet. Her left leg stuck the champion’s sternum; her right leg kicked out his knee. Tiffany shot herself into the ropes and landed a single-leg dropkick. But before Ricky could move and inch, his head was driven into the mat with a DDT. Tiffany attempted to pin him, however, Ricky was able to roll himself to the ring apron before she even had a chance. Tiffany made it back to her feet. She slapped on her leg and patted her back as she stepped through the ropes and planted her feet on ring apron.
Sumiko told both parties to bring things back into the ring as Tiffany lifted up Ricky. A rake of the eyes halted her progress. Sumiko gave Ricky another strong admonishment, but he seemed to brushed past her by carrying on with his assault. He gave Tiffany a nasty look before he grabbed her and nearly drove her through the apron with a reverse STO. A knee to the head and a boot to the side sent Tiffany underneath the bottom ropes and back into the ring. Ricky slid back in and went for the pinfall:
ONE!
TWO!
THRE—
Tiffany turned her body at the last possible second. Her shoulder lifted off of the mat as her right shot up into the sky. But that didn’t matter to Ricky. He simply got to his feet and grabbed ahold of that hand. Or more so, her right wrist. Maintaining that wrist control, he was able to stand Tiffany up and wrap her arm around her own waist. The crowd knew what he was looking for—that Sykosis (Ripcord Elbow Smash).
As quick as a whip, Ricky spun her around. His arm rose up and he launched out his elbow with deadly intent. But Tiffany reared back and slammed her head into chest. The counter stunned Ricky for a moment. Tiffany used that brief moment to hit Ricky with an even meaner headbutt. This sent the champion stumbling backwards. However, Tiffany didn’t let up. She charged in, kneed him in the gut, and grabbed ahold of his head. Tiffany kicked off of the ropes and planted him with a swinging DDT.
Instead of going for the pin, Tiffany pushed off of the mat and made it to her feet. Every movement pained her, but she knew she needed to keep on fighting. It took Ricky a moment, but he started to stir. He wasn’t done fighting either; he also knew he needed to keep on pushing. He got up to a knee.
Tiffany gritted her teeth and fought through the pain as she shot herself into the ropes. She rebounded and hit Ricky with running roundhouse kick. The impact knocked Ricky to his rump and made him grab his chest; it also forced Tiffany to clutch her back. She slammed her fist on the mat, as if she was willing her herself to keep moving forward. It was that will power that allowed her to stand back up. Once more, Ricky made it two a knee. He screamed out in defiance…
That’s when Tiffany used the last bit of strength she had to deliver her Death Kick (Kneeling Superkick). Ricky hit the mat. Tiffany fell on top of him and hooked his leg. Sumiko dropped down to make the count:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Tiffany rolled away as the bell sounded.
DING! DING! DING!
An exhausted Tiffany rolled to the edge of the ring. She needed to use the ropes to get up. And once she did, she was approached by Sumiko. The referee lifted up Tiffany’s hand. Moments later, she handed Tiffany the new Pro Wrestling NEO Republic Championship. Tiffany stared at it for a moment before she hoisted it into the air. The crowd went wild. Meanwhile, Ricky’s rage began to show as he came to. He violent kicked the ropes before he slid under the ring and made his way to the back. A few officials got shoved out of the way.

GRUDGE MATCH "NUT CHECK SATURDAY"
Christopher Kane vs. Tomoyo Hirate
The opening to "Sleepwalking" by Bring Me the Horizon began to play throughout the arena. The lights dimmed down as the vocals kicked in.
“Time stood still
The way it did before
It's like I'm sleepwalking
Fell into another hole I got
It's like I'm sleepwalking”
Christopher Kane stepped out from the back with his head down, hoodie on, and hood up. The crowd cheered the second generation wrestler.
ERIN LAMBERT: Introducing from San Dimas, California, weighing in at 214 pounds, Christopher Kane!
Some time passes by as he simply stood there, until—
CRAACK!
The darkened arena and his hood hide Tomoyo as she lurked near the entryway. And when Christopher was unsuspecting and vulnerable, she lifted up a black steel chair and smacked him in the back of the head. Christopher hit the ground and groaned in pain. Tomoyo gave him a good working over as she laid the boots to him. One even caught him in the jimmies. Confusion spread throughout the area, as the fans weren’t initially sure what was happening.
But eventually Tomoyo’s mask was seen. This brought displeasure to the fans, and they let it be known. But Tomoyo? She didn’t give a fuck about how pleased the fans may or may not have been. This feud had been personal from the very start; and she intended to finish it.
In an effort to protect himself, Christopher rolled onto his stomach. That was the wrong move. It simply allowed Tomoyo to whack him a few more times in the back with that chair. Each shot landed with a sickening THUD. The chair’s metal began to buckle and bend after the fifth shot to the back…
But Tomoyo still had use for it.
She drilled Christopher in the side with a sharp punt kick; the force flipped him over. Then she started to drive the top of the chair into Christopher’s neck. He gripped onto the side of the chair and tried to stop her. Unfortunately, she was standing at a vertical base and had the high ground. Christopher squirmed and gasped out for the air that he was so desperately being snatched from him. Eventually, Tomoyo grew bored of choking him out and tossed the chair away. She also tossed her mask away. But she also delivered a nasty stomp to Christopher’s throat. Well, he was really struggling to breath then.
In the meantime, Tomoyo accosted the nearby cameraman. His constitution check must have been low, as Tomoyo yelled out and forced him to hand over that thousand dollar camera. Tomoyo turned it around so that the lens was directed at her face; a prone Christopher was also in the frame. She squatted down next to him.
TOMOYO HIRATE: “あなたのガールフレンドに帰ってよろしく。”
(Commentary: The quote says, “say hello to your girlfriend back home.”)
She then spun the camera around and drove the jagged edge into Christopher’s forehead. One of the camera’s pointed edges sliced the through his flesh. A thin line of blood began to run down his face. But that wasn’t enough. Tomoyo continued to ram that camera into the open wound until Christopher’s face resembled a beet. Afterwards, she simply tossed the camera at his head; the camera skidded on the ground.
From there, Tomoyo took ahold of Christopher’s body and literally dragged him on the ground until they reached the edge of the ring. She hoisted him up and rolled him in underneath the bottom rope. Because all of Tomoyo’s shenanigans had happened before the competitors even reached the ropes, referee Matvey Morozov had no other choice than to call for the bell and officially begin the match.
DING! DING!
It took a bit of effort on her part, but she was finally able to bring him up to a vertical base. She said something to him in Japanese before a thunderous slap turn him inside out. Then she grabbed ahold of his waist. With determination in her eyes, Tomoyo lifted him up and dropped him with her Epsilon Tract (Deadlift German Suplex). She bridged into a beautiful pin:
ONE!
TWO!
THRE—
Somehow, some way, Christopher Kane was able to kick out!
This brought a good portion of the fans out of their seats. Tomoyo? Well, she stood there a moment. Maybe it was surprise. Maybe it was shock. Nevertheless, she watched on as Christopher slithered away and attempted to make it back to his feet.
She snapped out of whatever trance she’d been in and grabbed Mr. Kane. There was a mild glassly look in his eyes as Christopher was lifted to his feet. Once more, Tomoyo hit him with a thunderous slap. She was probably looking for that suplex again—
But Christopher leapt into the air and blasted her with a pele kick!
The kick sent Tomoyo stumbled back a few feet. And that was all the room that Christopher needed. He got back to his feet and charged at Tomoyo. Forearm after forearm collided with her head. The last elbow rocked her; she hit the mat and rolled onto the ring apron. Christopher wiped the blood out of his eyes and finally removed his ring jacket before he gave chase.
It wasn’t long before Tomoyo made it back to a vertical base. She laid in some European uppercuts. Christopher responded with more forearms. He went for a wild one, which Tomoyo ducked underneath it. She gave him a hard shove. His head should have collided with the ring post; however, he got his boot up and slowed his momentum. Thinking on his feet, he leapt off that planted foot and traveled backwards. He caught Tomoyo by the neck and powered her down with a cutter. Tomoyo’s body smacked against the ring apron. And for a moment she laid still…until she slid off and landed on the floor. Christopher? He took a moment to rest as he used the ropes to sit up. He breathed in deeply as he re-entered the ring. Matvey began to count:
One...Two...Three...Four…
At this point, Tomoyo began to stir and regained her senses.
Five...Six...Seven…
Nonetheless, the count was broken up as Christopher soared over the top rope with a plancha. He was quick to make it to his feet; and that’s when his body reminded him of his condition. His ribs ache and his head pounded. He clutched onto both as Matvey restarted the count:
One...Two...Three...Four…Five...Six
Christopher fought through his pain as he grabbed ahold of Tomoyo and threw her back into the ring. That cut of his was still pouring. He wiped his forehead before he darted in and connected with a shooting star press. He hooked Tomoyo’s leg and went for the pinfall:
ONE!
TWO!
TH—
It was Tomoyo’s turn to show her resilience and will power. She kicked out and rolled onto her stomach to avoid being pinned second time. Christopher got back to his feet and grabbed Tomoyo by the hair. He lifted her up only to drop her again with a half-and-half suplex—
By Tomoyo rolled through and landed on her feet!
She rushed in and grabbed Christopher by the arms. He was driven to the mat with a snap dragon suplex—
He rolled through as well.
Christopher grabbed ahold of her waist and tried to plant her with German suplex. But once again, Tomoyo flipped out of his. And upon landing, spun around and clobbered Christopher with a rolling elbow. He collapsed and dropped to his knees.
Tomoyo made a gun symbol with her right hand and pointed it at back of Christopher’s head. A bit of taunt thievery. And that’s when she shot herself into the ropes. She hit them with blazing speed and rebounded. A savage soccer kick caught Christopher directly on the chin. He slumped to the mat. Tomoyo crawled over and went for the cover:
ONE!
TWO!
THR—
Christopher got his shoulder up!
Tomoyo made the “cut throat” sign with her right hand as she made it to her feet. She grabbed Christopher by the tights and lifted him up. She gave him an elbow to back of the head before she grabbed him about the waist. She was looking for another Epsilon Tract. But Christopher grabbed ahold of her wrist. He used what strength he had to break her grip. The he lifted her into a fireman’s carry. He tossed her up as high as he could before he drilled her with a pele kick. Tomoyo dropped to the mat as Hit by a Cyclone connected.
Christopher’s ailments were plaguing him. He wiped some more blood from his forehead and grabbed onto his ribs with his left arm.
Tomoyo? She attempted to sit up.
Christopher’s right arm rose up. He made a gun symbol with his right hand. After a weak bang, he used his last bit of energy to shoot himself into the ropes. He rebounded and connected with his Omega Finale (Sliding D) maneuver. He draped his arm over Tomoyo’s chest:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
“Sleepwalking” began to play throughout the arena. Adrenaline alone allowed Christopher to stand to his feet. Matvey rose his hand and declared him the winner. Afterwards, Christopher collapsed to the mat. Medical attendants rushed to ring to check on both Christopher and Tomoyo after that hellacious bout.
WINNER: Christopher Kane via Pinfall (Omega Finale - 9:10)

GRUDGE MATCH "THE FLAVOR OF VENGEANCE"
Mila Ainsley vs. Deirdre Evans
Suddenly, the lights in the arena go out, leaving the crowd in a fearful stupor.
The silence of darkness breaks as “Blood, Tears, Dust” by Lacuna Coil kicks up. The cybernetic introduction causes a sequence of rapid colors to flash over the arena. The thrashing guitar follows in, bringing a single spotlight onto the stage. A coffin lays there and the lid comes open in an ethereal manner, creaking open. Smoke begins to flood out of the interior, which draws the camera in, as if it was allured by some supernatural presence. Hands reach onto the opposing sides.
♪ Three nights of hell Immortality to spell Light up the sky Make it through the darkness ♪
The spotlight turns green as Deirdre Evans lifts herself up, swinging her head forward. Her hair falls in front of her face as she ascends out of the coffin. She drags her hand through her hair, revealing her face tinted with green. She smiles partly and looks towards the crowd. Stepping out of her coffin with authority, she forces the smoke to parade around her. Deirdre approaches the entranceway and moves close to the fans. Some retreat back, while others are enraptured by her nigh-otherworldly mystique. To one fan, she caresses their face, drawing them further into her essence before breaking away to head towards the ring.
While the lights cycle through a rapid sort of white and green hues. Once she makes it to the end of the ramp, she turns her back to the congregation of adoring fans before lifting herself onto the ring apron. She swings her legs in and drags herself into the ring from under the bottom rope. Resting there, Deirdre grips the middle rope and brings herself up with an act of incredible flexibility. She grabs the top rope and swings her head back, taking any strand of hair from her face. The camera zeroes in on her wry smile for a moment before she heads for her corner. The lights go up as the mythical show comes to an end.
ERIN LAMBERT: "Ladies and Gentleman, let me introduce to you Deirdre Evans, she hails from Kirkwall, Scotland. Some of might know her better as Madame Bizzare.”
CERES BENTON: “It’s time for Mila to pay the piper tonight here at Insurgence. Well. ‘The madame’ but you get what I mean.”
JIN FUMEI: ”I was not aware that sort of thing was legalized in California, and given recent weeks, I do not think Evans is Mila’s type. We do not shame however.”
“Majesty" blasts in the venue, signaling the arrival of the Banter Queen herself. With the lights flashing in an array of pinks and purples, Mila Ainsley stepped out and faced everyone with her back. Showing off her purple and gold varsity jacket, swaying her long hair a bit, she then turns around, gracing everyone with that huge smirk of hers.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Making her way to the ring, from Seattle, Washington... she is “The Banter Queen"...MIIILLLA AINSLEY!”
With the announcement out of the way, she skipped to the ring, all while teasing and dissing the fans as she went. Once she reached the ring, she scaled the apron and leaned against the ropes. She takes the time to sarcastically bow to the fans before entering the ring through the middle ropes.
Mila scales the turnbuckle upon her entrance. Once on top, she leans forward and cups her ear to listen to the boos directed at her. She doesn't mind though, and she simply laughs as she hops down and chills for a bit in the corner, waiting for the match to get underway.
JIN FUMEI: “Mila has antagonized Deidre in and out, even when they were meant to team together. It could be argued that this was all strategy for a situation like tonight. Now she is taking space in Evans’ head and that could spell disaster.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “That’s not even remotely close to how you spell disaster.”
DING! DING!
From the MOMENT referee Morgan Hughes motions for the bell to ring, she runs out of the squared circle! Furious and ready to beat the brakes off this smart-mouthed rookie, Madame Bizarre gives chase to the cheers of the Sacramento crowd. She’s already running after her, and Mila makes her run a complete lap before she slides right back in the ring. Deirdre slides back in without thinking, getting a dropkick straight to the face for her trouble. With that moment of stagger, she begins getting stiff kicked in the ribs a few times before getting stomped in the back of the leg. It starts with some shoot kicks but turns into Garvin stomps.
CERES BENTON: “The Banter Queen is going to push her advantage from the get go and that is being a thorn in Evans’ side. Quick basement dropkick followed by some nasty kicks.”
JIN FUMEI: “Notice the special attention to stomping the back of Deirdre’s legs. Softening Evans for the sharpshooter. You cannot teach that kind of instinct.”
Ainsley continues stomping on the legs for a few moments before she takes a few steps back, waiting for Evans to get up, the second she’s up to even a crouching base, #TheBest sends her eating the mat with a bulldog, not wanting for her to be standing. With Madame Bizarre down on her side, Mila rolls her over the rest of the way and goes for the first pin of the match.
ONE!
Deidre already kicks out, not going to be staggered to even a two count so early in the match but Mila was already up and talking endless shit to the booing Sacramento crowd. This of course only served to make the Icon Living continue to bask in them as she pointed down at Evans and asks, “You tryna root for this bitch? Miss me with that shit, please. I *AM* NEO!” before she spin around and dropped an elbow into the back of Evans, right between the shoulder blades. Then Mila decided to check her hair, making sure not a lock was out of place. She slowly stood up as referee Morgan told her off, but Mila was already rolling out of the ring to find herself a chair, flipping the apron.
CERES BENTON: “Is it even remotely wise for Ainsley--I’m sorry “The Banter Queen” to be grabbing a chair when she has a match to wrestle? Even after that nasty elbow?”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I think she does know she has a match to wrestle. That’s why she’s getting the chair!”
Mila only gets as far as inside of the ring with the chair before referee Morgan yanks it out of her hands. While the referee tosses it outside, Madame Bizarre is literally centimeters from throttling Mila only for Mila to kick her SQUARE between the legs while the referee’s back is turned. Ainsley begins laughing as her tactics continue to bail her out from Evans’ (very well deserved) wrath as Madame Bizarre goes down. Mila licks her chops and forces Evans up before irish-whipping her into the turnbuckle. She comes in hot with a running european uppercut, a loud smacking sound echoing throughout the arena as Ainsley begins walking around, before turning around and hitting Deidre with another uppercut, and another one. She goes to hit her with one more...
...
Until Madame Bizarre’s eyes flicker open and a hand CLAMPS around Mila’s throat. Cue the crowd literally on their feet as Mila looks as though she’s finally about to get what’s coming to her.
JIN FUMEI: “There is not a single seat filled in the Golden 1 Center! They are all standing!”
CERES BENTON: “That was one uppercut too many and it looks like Evans has decided it is time for the counterattack!”
When Deirdre Evans shoves Mila into the turnbuckle, she outright flings her into it. What follows is her own european uppercut, loud as as gunshot going off in the arena as Ainsley grips her jaw from the impact, but Midame Bizarre ain’t had nearly enough of her yet. She catches her with another european uppercut, followed by another, and another again. Mila stops the next one with both her arms, but Deirdre only answers that with a straight up headbutt to the chest, Zidane style that sends Mila slumping in the corner, hugging her chest.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Does anyone else feel like playing FIFA 2006 or is it just me?”
Madame Bizarre takes off for the corner, running right back as the Sacramento crowd cheers in delight for a brutal cannonball senton that crushes Ainsley in the corner, ragdolling her. Ainsley tries to scramble out of the ring for a tactical retreat but Deirdre ominously grips the back of her head, wrenching her up by the hair before dragging her back into the ring...
Before hitting a brutal looking turnbuckle german suplex that leaves Ainsley laying before Deirdre makes the pin!
CERES BENTON: “If The Icon Living doesn’t realize it was a mistake to keep pushing Madame Bizarre yet, that nasty german into the turnbuckles might have made her rethink things.”
JIN FUMEI: “Your Fav’s Fav doesn’t strike me as the type to have a moment of ‘Are you there God? It’s me, Mila’.”
ONE!
TWO!
Mila hangs a leg over the ropes and the referee waves off the pin. Madame Bizarre doesn’t let it get to her however, keeping that same enigmatic aura about her, as she slowly rises to her feet, rolling Ainsley over before pulling her with her, only to drop her into a side slam backbreaker for good measure. Ainsley begins rolling away from her after that backbreaker, rolling and rolling and rolling until she’s way out of the ring, and onto the apron. Not letting her get away this time, Deirdre reaches for her over the ropes but suddenly Mila leans back and kicks Bizarre in the head. She grabs her by the hair and feeds her through the ropes before pulling the top rope over her shoulders, tying her up with the second rope!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Does anyone want to tell Mila that that’s not how the ropes are supposed to work?”
JIN FUMEI: “I think she knows Elizabeth. The Banter Queen is holding court for the Madame and Morgan is trying to get Evans free!”
Laughing, outright laughing to the boos and jeers of the crowd, Mila begins tagging Evans with kicks. Not hard kicks. No. Mocking kicks. Insulting as she tries to get free before she takes a few steps back. She gets to the end of the apron, turns around and scores a SHAKING (Running Single Leg High Knee) that drops Deirdre on the mat just as the referee gets her free. She rolls back into the ring and gets the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
Madame Bizarre kicks out and Mila looks absolutely infuriated that it wasn’t a three count. That it SHOULD have been a three count. She begins kicking and screaming accordingly, before telling the referee that that shit was a three and “did you fail daycare!?” before she shakes her head and as Deirdre begins to get up, immediately slaps on an attempted guillotine!
CERES BENTON: “Mila has cut every single corner she could find in this match and now this guillotine might be the end of it for Madame Bizarre!”
Mila From The Block squeezes that guillotine like her life depended on it as first Evans seems as though she’s about to rise... Before she drops to a single knee. Sensing that she’s got the advantage, Ainsley immediately hooks both legs around the waist to keep the hold applied with a grin on her features. She sees the other leg that Deirdre is on beginning to shake, as does the crowd. Everyone seems to believe that Evans is about to go down, much of the crowd still trying to rally behind her. What happens next is suddenly Madame Bizarre powering up and spinebustering Mila into the mat!
She stood over Mila as the rookie wrestler began to force herself up before Evans’ eyes looked at the ropes. As Ainsley got into a crouched position she stood up, looking for Madame Bizarre. The moment she turned around however, she was hit with such a brutal force of a jawbreaker lariat that it flipped #The Best into a complete three-sixty before collapsing on the ground!
JIN FUMEI: “Ow.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Ow.”
CERES BENTON: “Ow.”
Evans how hovers over Mila, arm extended for what looks to be a one-handed chokeslam. The Banter Queen has to use the ropes to pull herself up but the second that Deirdre slaps a hand around her throat Mila throws her entire body around it, grinning wide as she pulls Deirdre’s arm over the ropes, slapping on a flying armbar that turns into a hanging armbar! She uses all her body weight and the leverage of the ropes to dislocate the shoulder of Evans... Before Madame Bizarre reaches with her other arm... And begins to pull Mila up back over the ropes. The Banter Queen’s eyes go wide before she takes a straight up headbutt to the face that sends her stumbling. With a look of cold fury written all over face, Evans twists her around into a piledriver position.
...
Pause.
Madame Bizarre jumps and spikes Mila’s head into the mat! (Stalling, Jumping Piledriver)
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Uh, can we get a time of death?”
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
ERIN LAMBERT: "Here is your winner... Madame Bizarre... Deirdre Evans!!”
CERES BENTON: “In the last moments of the match, Mila was hoping to use the ropes to wear down, even pop Deirdre’s shoulder out of the socket but I think Madame Bizarre had enough.”
JIN FUMEI: “It was not a bad strategy on Mila’s part. Devious. Cunning. Call it what you wish but it had worked. Tonight however, Deirdre has taught Mila and the rest of NEO a lesson. Test the patience of Madame Bizarre at your own peril.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Guys, I’m still waiting on that time.”
WINNER: Deirdre Evans via pinfall (Jumping Piledriver - 11:44)
"Hoping to bring efedding a few good steps forward."

GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP
"CLASS VS. CRASS"
Cassius Reed vs. Grace van Beek
The Golden 1 Center plunges into darkness. It’s now time for the number one contendership match for the Grand Prix Championship between Grace van Beek and Cassius Reed. As “The Ecstasy Of Gold” by Ennio Morricone blares out from the loiudspeakers, a single spotlight pierces through the darkness revealing a man standing on the entrance stage. It’s Frank Huang, Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, here tonight to play live the violin part of Grace’s theme.
And here she is, the Diamond Princess herself making her grand entrance, anticipated as always by her personal security lead by the former South African Special Forces Brigade Ryen Riekert. Golden spotlights dance on the stage as the owner of Millennium Wrestling Enterprise waits for the red carpet to be rolled down the ramp. A couple of details stand out about her tonight. She’s wearing a black veil over her usual ring attire and, in her hands, she holds a single white rose. High and mighty, shooting looks of disdain at the fans booing her, she walks down the ramp with the usual slow stride, taking her sweet time to climb the steps and eventually entering the ring, only after the Head of Security sits on the rope to facilitate the operation. And it’s the same Ryen Riekert holding the custom diamond studded gold microphone in front of her lips.
GRACE VAN BEEK: Black veil and a white rose.
She says as the music fades out.
GRACE VAN BEEK: Two symbols often associated with funerals. While the black veil clearly symbolize grieving and mourning, the white rose represents hope, purity, the promise of heaven.
She takes a brief pause.
GRACE VAN BEEK: And that is exactly what I am bringing you. tonight. My opponent, Cassius Reed may be the face on tonight’s event poster, but he is the past already. Whoever will come out victorious of tomorrow’s Scramble match is the past already. Mister Bateman, Ms Fader, make no mistake. Should you become the inaugural Pro Wrestling Neo World Champion, you will, still, be the past already.
With slow, solemn movements she removes the veil covering her face and brings up the white rose to her lips, closing her eyes and breathing in., inhaling its delicate scent.
GRACE VAN BEEK: Feel blessed, for the better future you have been wishing for is already here. And you are about to witness it, in all his grandeur.
It’s not my fault your girlfriend like me,
I do her hard like fucking warp speed,
Your Dad’s mad, it’s not my fucking fault,
That your Mom wants to fucking fuck me!
As the intro to “You Suck” by Pour Habit blasts throughout the arena, out from the back bursts Cassius Reed! Slowly rotating in his gold lined black ring robe Cassius soaks in the atmosphere for just a moment. Spinning to face the ring, he shadow boxes at the top of the ramp a short time more, before posing, spreading his arms wide, and sprinting down to the ring at full pace!
ERIN LAMBERT: Fighting out of Funkytown, USA, and tipping the scales tonight at 205lbs… he is “Mister Punch-Yo-Face”, Plan C, the Snake Eater, The Puppet Master, The Devil-Slayer, The Funky Dragon, The True Iron King, The King of Air, the Vanilla Thrilla, Mister Punch-yo-Face… CASSIUS! REED!
Sliding in under the bottom rope, he quickly rolls onto his back before kipping up! Giving a quick smirk and raised eyebrow to the referee, he turns and leaps to the top of the nearest turnbuckle, before whipping off his ring robe with a flourish. He poses just a moment at the top of the turnbuckle, smug grin on his face, robe hanging from his hand, before dropping back to the mat, consigning his entrance gear to the outside whilst he finishes warming up for the match with more shadow boxing.
This match was always going to be...something, given the personalities of the two in it, and it became that from the first moments. The two approached each other in the middle of the ring and Cassius held up his hands to Grace, showing that on each of his fingers was a glittering gem. Each a different color, forming an impressive rainbow on Cassius’ fingers. This was to show, according to him, that he was the real Crown Jewel of NEO, sucka. Grace rolled her eyes, a bit annoyed by this extravagant display, but that annoyance changed to something else as Cassius pulled the rings from his fingers and handed them to official Matvey Morozov, who turned his back to hand them off, and Cassius immediately threw his hand out, jamming two fingers into Grace’s eyes!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: It begins.
CERES BENTON: Cassius wasting absolutely no time in getting the first advantage he can.
JIN FUMEI: A smart move! Use everything you can against your opponent!
Grace stumbles back with a hand clutching at her face while Riekert shouts angrily at Morozov for missing it, the official turning back just in time to see Cassius nail the blinded Grace with a European Uppercut before grabbing her and smacking her to the ground with a snap suplex, hooking the leg to try and get it early! Morozov slides in and starts the count, but Grace kicks out at 1, but Cassius is unbothered. He merely rolls away and gets to his feet. Bouncing from foot to foot with a grin upon his face, Cassius even taunts Riekert, urging him to come on and give it a try. Meanwhile Grace, her eyes are burning with the Need.
The Need for Revenge.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: IT BEGINS.
JIN FUMEI: She has a point, the look on van Beek’s face right now is one Reed should pay attention to.
CERES BENTON: If he ever finishes taunting Miss van Beek’s security.
As Cassius jaw jacks with Riekert, Grace gets to her feet and makes her first move, charging forward and hitting a dropkick to the back of Cassius’ right knee, the Reed surprised as he suddenly falls to one knee. Grace spins her body around on the mat and throws her leg up, connecting her boot right onto the point of Cassius’ nose, dropping him onto his back. She got to her feet quickly and grabbed the right leg, turning Cassius over before lifting his leg, smashing his knee right down onto the mat!
JIN FUMEI: A boxer like Cassius lives and dies on his feet, and Miss van Beek knows that.
CERES BENTON: Taking the leg out is a solid plan not just to take Cassius’ bread and butter away, but to set him up for worse down the line.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: That kind of deadly intuition makes the heart beat!
JIN FUMEI: ...uh-huh.
Luckily Cassius was fully aware, and manages to throw his other leg out as Grace lifted his leg again, nailing her right in the gut. She doubles over, releasing the leg, allowing Cassius to do his own spin on the mat, throwing his hand straight up with a loud yell and hitting Grace right on the nose with a palm thrust up! Grace stumbles back into the ropes, bouncing off of them and into Cassius’ waiting arms, who drops her with a quick belly to belly before mounting her, throwing a punch down...and another...and another! Cassius’ deadly fists came down, and Grace is in a bad place. Morozov starts to move around to try and get a better view, and while he was doing so Grace’s hand goes up and rakes at Cassius’ eye! With an unfunky shout Cassius falls back and Grace gets to her feet, immediately going for that right leg of Cassius’, grabbing it and after a struggle managing to get it around the back of her head, putting Cassius into a stretch muffler! Cassius holds himself up on his hands well, immediately trying to force Grace along as he goes for the ropes so close by. Given his weight advantage he was able to pull Grace along despite her best efforts, but as he went for the ropes Ryan Riekert reached out and grabbed the bottom rope, pulling it back away from Cassius’ fingers! Cassius responded with a very loud threat about how long Riekert’s “sucka life” was gonna be, drawing Morozov’s attention over! He admonished Riekert, threatening to throw him out if he tried anything like that again, Riekert stepped back and Cassius was able to grab the rope and force the break!
CERES BENTON: Both Miss van Beek and Cassius are more than happy to take any advantage they can tonight, even moreso than usual.
JIN FUMEI: Because now there’s gold. Gold does things to people.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: By which he means makes them wild out!
JIN FUMEI: ...it did not require further explaining.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Too late!
Cassius gets to his feet (clearly shaking the right leg for a moment) as does Grace, but Grace is immediately caught with a Pimp Slap (backhand slap) from Cassius! This spins Grace, and Cassius hefts her up in a reverse fireman’s carry before throwing her down, smashing her back down into his left knee! Grace flops onto the mat and Cassius steps over her, throwing his arms out and demanding the crowd check out this before he lept backwards and hit Grace with the Funky Knee, Funky Do (standing moonsault knee drop)! However despite how much that seems to hurt Grace, taking the breath right from her, it clearly hurts Cassius too as he rolls backwards onto his behind, checking at his right knee for a few moments. Getting to his feet with a grimace of pain on his face when he put weight on the right leg, Cassius made his way over to Grace and covers her.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--no, kickout!
CERES BENTON: Big risk for Cassius to hit that when his leg’s been targeted this whole match, and it didn’t immediately pay off.
JIN FUMEI: His entire weight on her ribs could be a factor later in his favor, but it could prove an advantage for Grace sooner.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: At least his knee didn’t pop out of place or anything. You ever see that? Gross. I’ll find you guys some Youtube videos later so you both can understa-OH!
Cassius starts to get to his feet and grabs Grace by the leg, but Grace surprises him as she kicks him in the head, dropping her legs down to wrap around Cassius’ right and rolling herself forward, taking Cassius’ leg out from under him and dropping him, with Grace rolling forward and locking in The Gentle Art (calf crusher)! Cassius was in the center of the ring and clearly in agony, Plan C’s face a mask of pain as he tried to work out a way out of his predicament before his resilience ran out. It was clear to see the plan roll through his head. He couldn’t reach the ropes, so he needed to make her let go. He intended to do that by throwing his fist over his opposite shoulder, hitting Grace on the back of the head. But that kind of angling meant he couldn’t put enough power into it. So that wasn't it. But Cassius knew the next best thing. And so he reaches his hand out again to the back of Grace’s head, grabbing a handful of hair and just YANKING! Grace let out a yell of pain, multiple strands of hair coming away with Cassius’ hand, and that unexpected pain loosens Grace’s grip enough for Cassius to free himself, rearing his left leg back and throwing it full force into the back of Grace’s head, knocking her over!
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Big Yikes.
CERES BENTON: Cassius Reed will find any way to get out of a bad situation, even if that requires some...follicle restructuring.
JIN FUMEI: This is why having any kind of hair length is a disadvantage in a fight. One yank is all it takes to change the whole thing.
Grace is clearly pissed off about that, getting to her feet and going to Cassius as he got to his knees but was met with a jab to her gut! She doubles over and Cassius hits an uppercut, using that momentum to get himself to his feet (however shaky his right may be, and it certainly is), and as Grace started to stumble back he grabs her hand. Grace has that look of “awwww here it goes” on her face as Cassius yanks her back over and nails her with a palm thrust to the face! She drops, but has enough sense to know on the ground is a bad place too and gets to her feet, glaring at him as she prepares. Cassius glares back...but that suddenly turns into a grin as he suddenly lashes out with a quick slap to Grace’s face! Grace seems more shocked than anything, her defense dropping with the shock of it, allowing Cassius to fire off. Right jab, right jab, left hook! Grace stumbles, her eyes wide and losing focus, and Cassius’ grin grows as he does the best spin he can on what could charitably call one and a half leg, hitting her with a backhand slap that floors her! Cassius punches straight up into the air, just showing off, while the C-Section of the crowd goes wild at the showcase by the Funky Dragon.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: Grace has many talents but she hasn’t studied enough Daigo to deal with that!
JIN FUMEI: The worst thing that could happen was Cassius Reed getting his fists flying out, and now Miss van Beek is feeling the effects.
CERES BENTON: The tides are shifting, she’ll need to figure something out quickly if she wants to overcome this situation. And it seems Mr. Riekert is agreeing...
Riekert lays on the apron, partially putting his body inside the ring to possibly wake Grace up while Cassius takes a moment to bask in the adulation of his people. Riekert slides back out and starts to move around the ring, drawing Morozov’s attention as he’s moving towards Cassius’ side, blatantly pulling a pair of brass knuckles from his pocket. Morozov immediately calls him out, demanding he not try anything, much to Cassius’ amusement. He shakes his head and turns to Grace, moving over to pick her up.
Which was when Grace pressed a taser into Cassius’ gut and activated it.
Cassius fell to the mat, spasming, Grace throwing the taser out of the ring before throwing her body onto Cassius’. Morozov hears the sound of meat hitting the mat and turns, seeing a cover and sliding in none the wiser, starting the count.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING! DING!! DING!!!
And with that, Grace van Beek was the #1 Contender to the Grand Prix Championship.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP ELIMINATOR "SHE CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT, KYRA"
Lyza Reyes vs. Kyra McKnight
The former Hard Knox Wrestling World Champion taking on the former Extreme Championship Wrestling Federation World Champion? It was a match that people had dreamed about for years and years. However, it wasn’t a dream any longer. It was a reality.
It was a quick-paced, but methodical match in the early goings. Lyza tried to employ her MMA training and shot in for a takedown. It would have caught most people off guard, but Kyra had done her homework. She spawled and was able to take Lyza down to the mat. From there, Kyra attempted to lock in a couple of wear down submissions. However, Lyza’s counter game was far too strong. Eventually, Lyza was able to push Kyra off and make it back to her. Kyra did the same. They tussled about a bit until Kyra sent Lyza into the ropes. Kyra slid underneath a rebounding Lyza; Ms. Reyes hit the adjacent ropes and rebounded once more. This time, Kyra landed a back kick that floored her opponent. Kyra then kipped up and hit the ropes; she rebounded herself with a single-leg dropkick to the back of the head. She went for the pinfall, but Lyza kicked out with relative ease. Kyra followed up her attack with a running shooting star press. She immediately went into the cover, but Lyza kicked out once again.
Throughout the ten minute mark, it was Kyra who kept the pace on her end. She hit a spectacular Asai Moonsault to take Lyza down and sent her back into the ring. Lyza began to get to her feet but Kyra slid down and swept her arms from their perched place. As Lyza attempted to get up again, Kyra connected with Off With Her Head (Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick). Lyza got the shoulder up at two but Kyra was quick to stomp her out, getting a small round of boos for the ruthlessness.
Fifteen minutes had past but Lyza and Kyra couldn’t put one another away. Omai (Running Blockbuster) didn’t put Kyra away. Kyra replied with a superkick into a Everest German Suplex but got a two count. By the end of the match, the two began to throw tired hands back and forth, knocking each other senseless until the crowd rallied them both back to life. A spinning heel kick knocked Lyza to the ground and Kyra got to the top rope, taking aim. She flew off with Boston Knee Party (Diving Double Knee Facebuster) but Lyza merely slammed her to the mat. She floated over with a jackknife pin. Kyra kicked out at two but when she got up, Lyza greeted her with a superkick of her own. Knocked beyond senselessness, Kyra soon fell victim to Disorientation Day (Cross Armed Diamond Cutter)!
WINNER: Lyza Reyes via pinfall (16:34 - Disorientation Day)

HEADLINE PRO WRESTLING NEO IMPULSE CHAMPIONSHIP EXTRACTION MATCH
Will Neilson vs. Sophie El vs. Fallon Lockhart vs. Ruiz
'Hopelessly Hopeful' sounds around the arena as the violin solo seems to match in tune with the lights as they flash and dim constantly. The song reaches the 17 second mark and Will Neilson struts out from the back, arms by his side and a face of determination. He crouches down, viewing his surroundings before slowly rising up, leaping in the air and landing with his feet firmly on the ground.
"Staring eyes wide open gazing into nothing, running in place again Going through the motions, in and out as the oceans, repeating Numb to the silence, to the absence of emotion, the sum of the script Nothing but a click in the rotation."
ERIN LAMBERT: Making his way to the ring hailing from the West Midlands, England... weighing in at 217 lbs, he is the Great British Meme, WILL.. NEILSON!
Will begins a walk down the ramp to the ring, adjusting his hair as he goes and his eyes firmly in front of him as he looks towards the ring. Neilson reaches the edge of the apron and raises his right arm upward, hand open as he drags it across the audience, taking it all in as the United Kingdom native walks towards the steel steps, crouching down once again and tapping the top of the steps a few times before ascending them. He uses the ropes to climb up to the top turnbuckle, nodding along to his theme song as he holds his head down before raising it up and flicking his hair backwards.
Leaping from the top rope, Neilson lands in the ring and pops the collar of his entrance jacket before looking towards the nearest corner and scaling the turnbuckle. Slowly, he unzips the jacket and holds it out so everyone can get a nice look at his chest. He finally just decides to take the jacket off and throws it over his right shoulder, jumping and landing back in the ring, pacing around before heading to the far corner of the ring and waiting for whatever is to come next.
As Will stayed in the ring, “Peter Robinson” by Lionhearted ft. Urban Cone struck the arena. Fallon Lockhart came from behind the curtain, looking determined and ready for the coming competition. She looked towards the audience, pointing to several of the fans. It didn’t take long for her to start her way down the ramp, her hands outstretched for the fans who wanted a high five.
ERIN LAMBERT: “Introducing second...from Los Angeles, California...weighing in at 115 pounds..FALLON LOCKHART!”
She slid under the bottom rope, standing rather quickly. From there, she slowly looked upward to the championship hanging high above her. When she dropped her head, she moved towards her respective corner. Her expression went from accepting to a serious gaze. The crowd was behind her, a few bringing signs for her.
Left for ten seconds to their own mechanisms, the crowd can only communicate among themselves. Nothing happened within those ten seconds, causing fans to look among each other for answers. Without warning, all the lights in the arena die out, leaving only darkness over the audience. Lights from camera flashes illuminate the setting before a spotlight fades in. It focuses on the entrance way. The light sound of rain begins, accompanying fog seeping from underneath the stage. In a somber whisper, a voice calls out.
“The blackest night falls from the sky. The darkness grows as all light dies. She craves your hearts and your demise. By her black hand, the dead shall rise.”
Suddenly, obtuse instrumentals blast the audience. The source, “Machine Gun” by Portishead, infuses with the dreary atmosphere generating on the stage. Fog tinted by rich purple lighting starts to overwhelm the stage, but in the midst of it...a silhouette appears. Stepping out of the all-consuming fog, Sophie El hides her face behind a black veil and her body until a lacy black cloak. On her head, a crown of lilacs, a symbol of passing, offsets the funeral colors that she chooses to bear. She starts down the ramp, not giving a single look to any of the jeering audience.
ERIN LAMBERT: Introducing second...coming from Paradise itself...weighing in at 157 pounds...she is the Undying...she is SOPHIE EEEEEEELLLLLL!
Sophie stands at the end of the ramp, standing with her hands interlaced. She continues to the stairs, to which she robotically climbs. Once on the ring apron, she slumps on the ropes, before quickly getting into the ring. The awkward pacing of her entrance shows some sort of discourse in the mind of Sophie El. When she gets to the center of the ring, she removes the veil and the crown. As she places it away, she leans onto her corner lazily, lolling her head side to side. As the lights come back from the baptism of deep purple, Sophie’s gaze is shown. Her eyes are glossed over as if none of the world around her matters.
“Cerca de mi Neighborhood” by Tego Calderón blasts the sound system as behind the curtain Héctor Ruiz waits. The crowd is starting to get behind the beat of the song, just as a small spotlight hits the center of the curtain, that’s the cue Ruiz was waiting for, as he promptly gets out of the curtain and into the stage. He extends his arms, letting the crowd have a good visual of his t-shirt. He stands there with a slight smirk on his face, as he hits his chest on the spot his chest tattoo is located, with his right hand twice and screams “VAMOS!” before the announcer introduces him.
ERIN LAMBERT: Introducing last, from Bayamón, Puerto Rico by way of Brooklyn… they call him the “Southside Bambino”… HEECTOR… RUUIIZ!
Once the introduction is done, Ruiz continues his way down the ramp. Here and there he high fives a lucky fan or two, as he walks towards the ring. Once near the apron he looks to every side, feeding off the crowd, as he slides under the bottom rope and into the ring. He then sprints towards the farthest turnbuckle and jumps to the middle rope, while he keeps screaming at the crowd, mostly at himself, before hitting his chest once more and jumping back to the middle of the ring as he waits for the match to start.
DING! DING!!
All four of the participants looked up at the Impulse Championship hanging above them. The crowd was anticipating the first move. The unique structure of the match brought out a different flavor in each of the competitors’ minds. They would have to go forward without the common knowledge and ascend high above the ring, at least fifteen high. When heads descended, Sophie El gave everyone a curtsy before the match kicked into gear.
Ruiz and Will Neilson both ascended their respective turnbuckles, trying to hurry up. Sophie grabbed onto Will and dragged him down to the ground. Fallon attacked Ruiz, hitting him in the back, but waited for him to properly react. Ruiz came down to confront her and the two locked up properly. Ruiz, with the size advantage, was able to push Fallon away from the corner. Once she had enough room, Fallon leapt up and caught Ruiz in the chest with a close but powerful dropkick.
Neilson struggled to get out of Sophie’s grip but the powerful, young lady collected him into her arms. With a simple move, she dropped him on the ground with a German Suplex. Will held his neck, rolling around. Fallon and Sophie turned to one another, knowing they both were interrupting the others’ ascension into the championship glory. Sophie and Fallon lock up but Sophie won the initial struggle via a simple shove into the corner. She followed up by burying her shoulder into Fallon’s stomach, contorting her around it until she sent the young woman careening across the mat into the ground.
Ruiz had recovered from the early dropkick and brought Sophie down with a double axe handle to the back. Sophie stumbled into the ropes and Ruiz followed up with a double knee strike, sending the strongwoman to the outside. Seeing that Will was still getting to his feet, Ruiz captialized by bringing him back down with a shining wizard. He checked on Fallon and ascended the turnbuckle, making his move up onto the column.
CERES BENTON: “The first person to get up there, if he’s quick enough, Ruiz may end this match early.”
JIN FUMEI: “He had better be like the Flash!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “I can’t wait for the next season.”
Ruiz hung onto the ropes, guiding himself towards the championship, only for Will Neilson to grab him by the leg. Ruiz tried to kick him away but the first two didn’t exactly land flush. The third one was captured and Ruiz hung on for dear life. Sadly, Will had other plans and brought back down to reality...and the mat. Ruiz writhed in pain on the mat, getting closer to the ropes. Sophie El reached in and dragged him to the outside, carrying him over to the barricade, where she whipped him hard into it headfirst.
CERES BENTON: “That was a distressing noise.”
Fallon and Will patrolled around one another, not looking for a lockup. Fallon got the headstart at him, but slid under his legs. Will darted around, trying to keep pace, but Fallon was able to weave around him easily. Fallon brought Will down into an inside cradle, but before Fumei could criticize her, she let go of it, dragging a kick down on the top of Will’s head. She hit a kip-up and chased him into the turnbuckle where he was trying to retreat. She hit him with a flying back elbow before dragging him down to the mat with a snapmare. A dropkick to the back of the head ended the sequence and Fallon saw Sophie starting to re-enter the ring.
Fallon hit a baseball slide to her, sending the Undying back into the barricade. When Sophie came to retaliate, Fallon flew over the top rope with a flying clothesline. Sophie once again collided with the barricade; Fallon began to get up, knowing that time was of the essence. As she did, Ruiz came forward and grabbed her by the scruff of the neck. He sent her over the barricade into the crowd before running into the ring. When Sophie started to muster up the strength to get up, Ruiz scooped her up on his shoulders and brought her down on the barricade with a Samoan Drop to the roar of the audience. From there, he hit the ring again.
JIN FUMEI: “Tactics and experience right there! Keep two down outside and keep the one inside out of the way!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Too bad that Sophie’s full of crazy and Fallon’s full of energy. He doesn’t have that much time.”
Ruiz came up to Will Neilson, striking him with a knife edge chop. Neilson held his chest, hissing before returning the chop. Ruiz fired back with two alternating ones before whipping Neilson into the ropes. Ruiz rushed at him on the return, ducked underneath Neilson’s attempt to reverse, and came back with a flying forearm smash. Neilson dug deep and caught him out of the midair. He held Ruiz in the air for a second before dropping him down with a half nelson backbreaker. Ruiz got up quickly but it was to Neilson’s liking who caught him with a Muay Thai knee to prop Ruiz up. Neilson measured and brought Ruiz down with a roundhouse kick. Ruiz tried to get up, which allowed an Overhead Roundhouse Kick to put him down. Neilson went up to the turnbuckle, looking to start his ascension to the ropes high above.
Once there, he went moving his way across. Fallon Lockhart had made her way out from the other side. She began to climb the top turnbuckle and scale across herself. She was more agile than Neilson, so she made her way across faster. Before she could start to untangle the belt, Neilson reached her and threw his legs up to hit her. Fallon hung on despite the impact. Sophie El had returned to the ring, climbing on another part of the rope. She didn’t struggle as much as Neilson did, thanks to her handling of her own body weight. As she made her way across, she began to swing her legs back forth, gaining momentum. Before the other two could process entirely what Sophie was doing, she leaped off, bringing both Fallon and Will down to the ground with a low-aimed spear.
CERES BENTON: “She still managed to get the spear off from that height!”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Incredible!”
JIN FUMEI: “But at what cost? Ruiz is up and at ‘em!”
Ruiz, seeing the three competitors down, shrugged and began to climb his way to the ropes. Fallon began to stir and caught Ruiz’s attempt. She sprung to life, rushing over to stop him. She climbed to the top rope, battering him with fists. Ruiz elbowed her, but she didn’t fall off. Instead, she mustered up enough courage and might to hang. She punched him in the gut hard enough for her to adjust on the top. A moment of contemplation and adjustment led to her tucking his head under her arm. She ran up the column and hit a Tornado DDT!
JIN FUMEI: “OH MY GOODNESS!”
CERES BENTON: “What a show of athleticism! She must have took that Parkour Championship to heart!”
Fallon used the momentum to get to her feet. Her time was waiting as she leaped onto the top turnbuckle. She had to take a moment to try to climb, catching her breath. As she made her way up and across, she didn’t notice Will Neilson creeping up behind her. She saw only Sophie El getting up. She saw Sophie spinning on a dime before Will yanked her down right into Spilt the Sky (Discus Big Boot)! Fallon struck the ground hard, the raw impact and the speed flattening her!
Will, however, wasn’t too worried about Fallon’s well-being as he saw his chance. He collected Sophie into his grip and planted her with the Lag Spike (Bloody Sunday)! Sophie fell out of the ring on impact and Will looked high above. Shaking out the cobwebs, he ran up the turnbuckle and onto the column. He hung on the ropes for a moment before opting to swing his body back and forth. Ruiz was getting to his feet and he tried to reach out for Will but it was too late.
Will swung his legs up high and wrapped them around the ropes. He began to scoot himself closer to the championship. Ruiz began to climb the opposite end, hurrying up, despite the pain. As he made it halfway through, Will had his hands on the belt. Ruiz, desperate, began to throw himself forward, catching the rope each time. Will’s eyes widened in panic as Ruiz grabbed onto the belt. The two of them began to fight for position.
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Someone’s going to end up with a broken neck. Rad.”
JIN FUMEI: “Not exactly, Elizabeth, but this is down to the wire!”
Fallon began to stir, holding her head as she saw what was above her. Through sheer effort, she began to send herself up. Ruiz and Will jostled on the ropes until...well…
They fell.
Fallon looked on in worry as Will and Ruiz came down. Yet then it turned to amazement as Will managed to transfer his descent into a move.
GREAT BRITISH ELBOW!
Will bounced off of Ruiz after delivering the elbow, wallowing on the mat. As Referee Ollie Summers came forward, she called for the bell.
Laying in a heap of pain but with a smile on his face, Will Neilson rose up one thing to the crowd’s elation.
The Impulse Championship!
DING! DING!! DING!!!
ERIN LAMBERT: “Here is your winner and NEW PRO WRESTLING NEO IMPULSE CHAMPION...WILLLLLLLL NEILLLLLLSON!”
Will got to his feet, clutching the championship to his chest. Memories of JCP played out before the audience, but this time, it was Will Neilson taking home the Impulse Championship. With a loud yell, he rose the belt high into the air.
CERES BENTON: “Will Neilson has made it here tonight. After the trials and tribulations of dealing with the Church of Oleska, he has made it this far and now he’s leaving as a champion!”
JIN FUMEI: “The other three were so close but it came to a spectacular finish.”
ELIZABETH LESAGE: “Yeah, he styled on Ruiz before the bell rung.”
Neilson walked up the ring ramp with a proud smile on his face. Ruiz was getting up, clutching his chest with a scowl on his face. Sophie looked on at Neilson with slight disappointment. Fallon cursed herself lightly but managed to leave the ring with a pride in herself intact.

PRO WRESTLING NEO GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP
EIGHT PERSON ELIMINATION MATCH
Ashley Lockheed vs. Issak Otto vs. Evelyn Kuller vs. Katya Djurdvedic vs. Cosmo Cooper vs. Marilyn Lee Cross vs. DeMarcus Gresham vs. Caroline Dallins
Due to some travel issues, Andy Villar was not able to attend on the night. The audience was disappointed that the Valor star would not be gracing the ring. Yet, the announcement of the inclusion of Marilyn Lee Cross brought some cheers from the downtrodden audience. MLC herself got a fair reaction, as well as some boos for pushing herself into the match, but they were eventually drowned out. Ashley Lockheed, known from Boogie Nights, made his reappearance to the Pro Wrestling NEO audience. He received a lukewarm reaction, but it was one found in not knowing him as well as some of the other wrestlers. He didn’t seem to mind, knowing that he had to make an impact. DeMarcus Gresham came out to a chorus of boos as well as morbid cheers. His mood didn’t seem to have space for the crowd’s reaction, sauntering down with some minor stretches throughout.
Katya Djurdjevic received some cheers, due to her familiarity as a tenacious interviewer turned wrestler. She waved at the audience while she sized up the competition in the ring. Caroline Dallins received what you would think was a hero’s welcome--her status in the wrestling world granted her a heavy set of respectful reaction. Cosmo Cooper received a similar vibe, where people chanted his name the whole time he came down. Issak and Evelyn, though? The audience rocked the arena with the way they cheered for the two. Evelyn kept her same abundant energy while Issak swarmed the crowd with a reflection of their love for him.
When the match bell rang, people broke off into their individual groups to do battle. DeMarcus seemed particularly fixated on trying to beat the crap out of Cosmo Cooper. However, the Apex Champion rallied back, resulting in a heavy exchange of blows from both parties. On the other end, Ashley Lockheed and Katya went at it. MLC, Evelyn, and Issak had their respective three-way bout there. Finally, Caroline just lingered in her corner, staring out with a questionable look.
Marilyn did bring some heat into the match. She was out to prove herself, that she deserved to be in this match. She primarily took it to DeMarcus Gresham, one of her opponents in the following night. He was unable to keep up with her there, especially as she planted him with Bad Dreams (Northern Lights Suplex → Brainbuster). She attracted a lot of the attention from the overall crowd with her gutsy performance.
Sadly, her night came to an abrupt end as she came in for Catch Your Breath (Spear) but Cosmo Cooper caught her with the Torpedo Headbutt, taking a page from Luigi from Smash Bros. MLC crept to her fight, trying to keep the fight going, but it was soon over for her as Cosmo turned her around and brought her down with the Crater Maker (Jumping Spinning Tombstone Piledriver).
ELIMINATION #1: Marilyn Lee Cross by Cosmo Cooper (5:22 - Crater Maker)
People would say that Ashley was out of his element, but a man trained by the Neck Breaking Beast would sooner prove himself ready for anything. He played his place right, making sure to stay out of the eye of some people like the more experienced Dallins and Cooper. However, he did catch Evelyn and Issak off guard and began to alternate punches to them. He hit a counter drop toe hold on Katya as she tried to attack him before bringing down Cosmo Cooper with a bulldog counter. He completed the series of momentum fueling moves with a diving crossbody to Caroline Dallins. When he got up, Ashley took a moment to take in the big stage around him, even more so it was the crowd. They were behind him, seeing his explosive offense in its full glory. Ashley pumped his hand and threw up his hands in celebration of his performance.
Yet, he was getting too big for his britches, it would seem. He tried for another diving crossbody to the rising Katya but DeMarcus crushed him with Determination (Yakuza Kick)! Ashley fell to the mat, rolling across the mat in pain. DeMarcus ran over to him and put him down with The Enlightenment (Spinning Side Slam)! DeMarcus got the decisive pin, flattening the crowd. DeMarcus got up, indicating that it was only a matter of time. Ashley left the ring with a few cheers behind him, sympathetic to his cause.
ELIMINATION #2: Ashley Lockheed by DeMarcus Gresham (8:31 - The Enlightenment)
Naysayers might have doubted her announcement, however, Katya proved that she indeed belonged in the match. Katya tussled with Caroline during the early stages of the match up. The veteran attempted to put an end to Ms. Djurdjevic with a brainbuster, but Katya slipped out. She was then able to plant Caroline with a nice German suplex. It earned her two-count. Later she had an encounter with the former JCP Champion. Evelyn took ahold of an arm and tried force Katya down to the mat for an armbar. But Katya was a quick thinker and was able the counter the attempt into an armdrag. Two went back and forth for a while, Eventually, Evelyn did take Katya down to the mat. Evelyn worked various holds and submission, and although Katya fell victim to them all, she was able to escape them all as well.
She was doing well. She was making a mighty impression—until she ran into Mr. Gresham. For awhile, she was able to use her speed to stick and move. She even took him to the mat with a headscissors. But a nasty lariat leveled her. He was certainly going to follow up his attack with something even nastier, but he got sidetracked by Cosmo. This allowed Caroline to reappear. She grabbed ahold of a rising Katya and planted her with a snap dragon suplex. Then Caroline transitioned into the News At 11 (Figure Four Necklock). With no way to get out of it, Katya was forced to tap out.
ELIMINATION #3: Katya Djurdjevic by Caroline Dallins (10:10 - News At 11)
Caroline was quite a difficult person to keep track of during this match. More so, it was because she took the fight to just about everyone. Issak received a series of chops. DeMarcus got a forearm. Evelyn got planted with a sleeper suplex. Cosmo got caught in The Real Folk Blues (Gator Roll/Rolling Front Chancery) for a little bit. And Katya? Well, Caroline ejected her from the match. The longstanding veteran was rocking and rolling as the match went on. She nearly eliminated DeMarcus when she nailed him with crucifix driver.
It was the combined efforts of both Evelyn and Issak that lead to Caroline’s downfall. She attempted a hangman’s choke on Evelyn. Nonetheless, Issak wasn’t having any of that dirty shit. She blasted Caroline with a running European uppercut and put an end to those shenanigans. A Class Axe (Ripcord Lariat) was soon to follow. This gave Evelyn some time to recover. And when she did, she was able to hit Caroline with the Sheer Heart Attack (Galleria). That earned the three-count.
Cosmo was a spectacle to behold from the get-go, having gotten an early elimination on MLC. Now, the match was dying down a little bit. However, he was still firing on all cylinders. He nearly knocked DeMarcus clean out with a bicycle knee, which he easily transferred into a Three Quarter Nelson Suplex. When he got up, Evelyn came at him, hooking him into an Inverted Headlock, but Cosmo got out of the move and shoved Evelyn forward. He brought her down with a ring-shaking Pop Up Powerbomb but as he turned, he was met face-to-face with Issak Otto. The crowd began to ramp up for their showdown, two of the best wrestlers on a fundamental level going against one another.
At the beginning of their confrontation, Cosmo overpowered Issak with his explosive offense. Cosmo came back at Issak with a leg lariat but found himself caught out of mid-air. Issak looked to plant him but Cosmo managed to flail his way over and brought Issak down with the Leela Bomb (Poisonrana)! As he waited for Issak to get up, DeMarcus Gresham appeared and grabbed Cosmo from behind. He tried for the KOS (Cobra Clutch Slam) but Cosmo fell behind DeMarcus.
As he had the offense in his favor, Cosmo turned DeMarcus around and tried for Crater Maker. However, DeMarcus wriggled his way out, reversing it on Cosmo. He looked ready to plant him but Cosmo fell out of his grip and began to snake his way around DeMarcus’ leg. With a shoot kick, DeMarcus broke the hold but Issak crept up behind him and struck him down with the Class Axe. Cosmo had his eyes trained on Issak, seeing his chance to capitalize but before he could, Evelyn came from an angle and struck him down with The Will of One (Running Single High Knee)!
Issak turned around, seeing Cosmo fall. Both him and Evelyn nodded. The CWC Male Wrestler of the Year needed to be taken down. It didn’t take one Class Axe. It didn’t take one Sheer Heart Attack. It took a combination after Cosmo kicking out twice to put him down. A second Will of One followed by a Snap German Suplex from Otto did the trick and Cosmo was out. The odds-on favorite recovered fairly soon after, looking around. A look of frustration crossed his features, but he nodded to himself. He understood what it took to put him down and he accepted the fact.
ELIMINATION #5: Cosmo Cooper by Evelyn Kuller and Issak Otto (18:36)
DeMarcus was still worse for wear after the Class Axe he received earlier. Issak and Evelyn both looked at him. They then locked up while DeMarcus fully recovered. He glared over at the two of them before walking over to interrupt their wrestling. DeMarcus was a different man coming into the match. He was much more relentless, noted in the way he threw Evelyn into the mat with a Release German Suplex. He was more dedicated to mutilation than anything else, as seen in his repeated knee lifts, knocking the air out of Issak. It served him well and the crowd was split behind it. That is until people were booing him for the way he kicked both competitors while they were down.
He maintained this dominance until he picked up Issak and tucked in between his legs. For a moment, he looked around before deciding to go to a corner. He ripped the turnbuckle pad off before going back to Issak. Once again, he set up Issak for Royal, the vicious, rarely-seen powerbomb meant to hurt more than anything than to win. As he began to run full speed at the corner, Evelyn ran in and hit him with a thurst kick. DeMarcus let go of Issak, who hit him with a dropkick. DeMarcus stopped himself on the unprotected steel but turned around into Evelyn’s grip. She brought him down with Adverse Effects (Swinging Reverse STO) before following up smoothly with Sheer Heart Attack!
It was now down to the two.
A rematch that a few fans knew well. Issak shook his head, getting rid of any cobwebs while Evelyn got her feet.
It was a rematch from JCP over their top championship. The two started the match off like they did then with a handshake. Once they broke away, some of the same motions from the First Impact match came forward. Yet, the two were more experienced, seeing more ways to escape the same fate. Issak’s mat-based offense didn’t get a chance to get fully started. He went for an arm wringer but Evelyn managed to get his feet from under him before he got anything in too deep. Evelyn, instead, hit a Dragon Screw and began to work over Issak’s legs.
Issak countered what some heavy blows and slams that loosened up Evelyn’s strength. He had bulked up a tad since the days of JCP and Evelyn had to take notice. Yet, her offensive plan played in her favor as she managed to interrupt his momentum by hitting a Dragon Screw or taking him down into some sort of leglock.
Evelyn’s strategy did come back to haunt her as Issak managed to reverse a Dragon Screw attempt with an enzuigiri. Showing more of that strength, he lifted Evelyn up onto his shoulders. He hobbled around on one leg before dropping her with an Electric Chair Drop. He then went to the top rope and waited for her to rise. When she did, he went in for a Diving Clothesline, taking a page out of Kaia’s book, but Evelyn had it scouted. She struck him down with a thrust kick before bringing him up. It was now or never and she planted him with Sheer Heart Attack!
And it got her a two count!
Evelyn waited for Issak to get up before grabbing him for another Sheer Heart Attack. When she lifted him, he turned to dead weight. Evelyn let go of Issak and bounced off the ropes, hitting The Will of One to the back of Issak’s head.
Or she would have if he hadn’t ducked.
Evelyn crashed into the ground and hurried to her feet, despite landing directly on her knee. Issak evaded a desperate clothesline attempt and secured her for the Class Axe! When he fell on top of her, he waited and prayed for the three count.
To no avail, Evelyn kicked out at two!
So he went for another!
The second one connected but Issak shook his head “no.”
He lifted Evelyn up and tried for a third, but Evelyn reversed around it and started to apply Scalpel’s Teaching (Dragon Sleeper). She held it standing, slowly to drive the life out of Issak. It seemed to be working, getting referee Matsuda to draw close. Evelyn gritted her teeth, but she didn’t know that was an unfortunate move.
Issak suddenly dropped down, hitting her with a makeshift jawbreaker to pop her away. Evelyn held her mouth, hoping that she hadn’t bitten her tongue off. Issak took her in for a third Class Axe but Evelyn evaded once again. Issak used the momentum to run to the ropes and springboard off. When he came down, he connected with Kaia Rain’s Shot in the Dark (Tilt-A-Whirl DDT)! Evelyn’s head bounced off the mat and Issak saw his last chance.
He pulled Evelyn up to her feet, who reached for the ropes wearily, but it was too late.
Unlike at First Impact and other times before, Issak hit a thunderous Class Axe and fell into the cover.
With the crowd on their feet.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING! DING!! DING!!!
Issak got up with a look of total elation on his face as he looked around. Referee Matsuda Sumiko came forward with the Pro Wrestling NEO Grand Championship, handing it to him. Issak took it and did nothing but stare at it. It took him so time before he clutched to his chest. As he did, Evelyn came to her senses, looking at him with a hint of disappointment. She came over to him, immediately offering him a hand up. Issak did so graciously, which led straight into a tight hug from Evelyn. With honor resonating, Evelyn held up Issak’s hand while the new champion rose the other. As the credits came forward, the lasting image was of the first Grand Champion with tears in his eyes and the biggest smile on his face.
